I did hours of research before selecting a peragon truck cover. I am very happy with my selection. The utube videos made installation a breeze. The ability to use the full truck bed is awesome. I have never seen another cover that allows you to install bed rails along with the cover. I highly reccomend peragon truck covers.

Let me start by saying that Jacob is first rate. Not only did he help me place the order, which arrived in three days, but he followed up with me once I received the cover.
With so many choices of bed covers and me being a first time truck owner I wanted to make a purchase that I would not regret. Several of my pals had opinions and I did some research and came across the Peragon website. After looking at the price, the options, and the practicality of the Peragon cover I decided to purchase one for my truck.
To make the install much easier one should find and extra set of hands. I had a friend help and it took around 3 hours with breaks as it is still in the 90s here in Texas. We found the drawings very crude and provide minimal visual instructions. The written part of the instructions and the videos are needed for the install. Once we assembled the frame and attached the brackets to the bed we needed the extra washers provided in order to align the cover vertically. Make sure to measure the distance between the rails horizontally as well to insure proper rail alignment. This took most of the install time as things kept moving. Once complete the cover worked like a dream. The cover looks great, the bearings roll great, and the coating feels durable. I purchased the extra gasket, but I do not need it right now as the cover closes right at the tailgate making a good seal. I will keep the gasket as they do go bad over time.
Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and I would recommend this product to a friend.

2003 Chevrolet Silverado in California

I was very impressed with Peragon before I even installed the bed cover. My truck is a 2003 Silverado and I ordered a paint matched cover. Shortly after placing my order, I received a phone call to confirm my bed length and also that I wanted a color matched cover because of the age of my vehicle and that the paint may not match due to fading. I assured them my truck has been very well kept and does not have any fading. I really appreciated their concern for my satisfaction before I even fully placed the order. Upon receipt of the cover at my home, they called me to verify delivery and let me know they are available anytime to help with install. The install itself was fairly straight forward and the online videos where extremely helpful via my tablet in the garage. I gave ease if install a 90 only because of the step that recommends taping the seal up on the side rails with masking tape vice painters tape. I used masking tape on one side and painters on the other. I didn't find it really necessary and the side with masking tape left residual glue on the rail and gasket. Recently I took my boat to the River and when I was pulling the boat out, I rolled the cover up and dropped the tail gate so I could see my trailer. Couldn't do that with my old solid cover! Overall, I am very satisfied and drove the truck into work today. You should have two more orders coming from some of my buddies!!

Excellent cover, great looking, perfect color match. Installation was very easy. Instructions in the manual are more important then video.
The main comment is, that this cover was ordered from Canada. So with shipping, color matching and dollar conversion it was still much cheaper, than buying it here.

From the beginning the customer service is awesome and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The available videos make the installation foolproof. Most of the installation can be accomplished by one person with help only needed in setting the framework up on the truck. Slight water intrusion when going through a high pressure wash. I am anxious to see how it performs during a rainstorm (if it ever rains again in CA). The cover looks great and is a better value than most others I have seen. I found the Peragon online by chance and am glad I chose it over the roll up covers.

I've had my cover for about two weeks now. After a brief break-in period of maybe ten or twelve openings, the cover and locking mechanism operate flawlessly.
I am extremely impressed with the quality of fit and water tightness. I went through one pretty heavy rain shower, and ended up with maybe a quarter cup of water in the bed. The parts are high quality, and machined to a very precise fit.
I found that the installation process is straightforward if you read the manual, and watch the videos with each step. Leveling the rails took me a few tries, but once there, the system works exactly as advertised. You can not put a heavy load on the closed cover, but I was aware of that before I purchased it.
I am very pleased with my new Peragon.

This is by far the best bed cover I have ever used. while not meant to be waterproof it does a great job. I had vinyl covers on past trucks and was debating a rollup. Due to not using it much I decided to go with the cheaper method and go with this folding cover. I like it so much I have found I use it all the time.
Now I marked down the ease of install not because it was difficult because it wasn't but because I had to drill holes in the bed of the truck. Due to the potential of rust to form I dont like to do any alterations to the metal. To avoid any rust problems I took a tube of clear silicone and rubbed it all over any exposed metal or area i drilled through.
O and you cant beat American made!

I needed a locking cover that could be easily moved out of the way for towing a 5th wheel trailer. This cover fits the bill. Installation was completed in a couple of hours, it takes a bit of time/effort to get the rails perfectly straight but you will be glad you did when it comes to ease of operating the cover. A determined party will still be able to access your truck bed with the cover on and locked, but it provides some amount of weather protection (use plastic tubs or similar for complete protection) and keeps things out of sight. Extremely happy with the looks and functionality of this cover after several months of use.
Stellar customer support also; I needed to replace an end cap and was promptly informed that a pair would be sent immediately, no charge at all. Great experience, would highly recommend this product and this company.

The cover is of high quality construction...seems very durable and looks great on the truck. Beautiful finish. The installation was not difficult but rather tricky to get operating smoothly. Only required a few adjustments. The weather stripping near the tailgate started to pull off a bit. The tail gate closes snug and does not seem to let any water in. I would prefer a thicker rubber weather stipping attached with screws instead of the peel and stick variety. But all in all, I am very happy with my decision, lets see how it holds up!

I wanted to write a long term review of this product. I ordered the cover in Jan. 2015. When I received it, there was some shipping damage. The panel by the tailgate was smashed and some of the other panels had light scratches on them. I called Peragon and sent them photos of the damage. They quickly sent me a new tailgate panel. I installed the panel and then installed the cover on my truck. Then, I had problems with the cover closing. So I called Peragon again and sent more pictures to make sure I installed the cover correctly and the new panel. After about 30-40 hours (no exaggeration) of troubleshooting, the cover still was not closing. In addition to it not closing, I was unable to lock the cover and it offered no protection for the weather. After a few weeks of my "tweaking" things and a lot of phone conversations, Peragon sent me a new gas strut that fixed the problem. Well, it fixed it for about 5 1/2 months. Around the middle of September, the closing issue came back and I called Peragon again they asked for some photos. In the middle of taking photos for customer support, the cover bound ripped the seal out of the panel closest to the cab of the truck and bent the cross bar by the cab. I called Peragon back and they told me that the cover I had was prone to this from an engineering flaw due to tolerance stack up and they wanted to send me 2-3 new panels. There are only 6 panels on the cover so roughly 50% of my cover was out of spec from the beginning and Peragon knew it. At this point I asked to return the cover for a refund I had too much of my time into it and I was not about to replace 2-3 more panels. But for the 5-6 month period the cover was operational, it leaked in places I was told it shouldn't and did not offer hardly any weather protection. Also, just after 9 months the bearings have begun to stick plus all the polymer wore off and the cover is a little noisy when I am driving now. Also, if you are hauling something more than 8-10" high, just leave the cover open it will prevent you from having to crawl under it to remove the items that are blocking the cover from opening. If you plan to close the cover with items under it, make sure you have a cargo bar or something blocking the last 2 1/2ft of the bed (by the cab) so you can get it back open. I cant tell you how many times I had to crawl on the soaking wet bed to get something out so the cover would open. If you are still considering this cover after reading this you are considering the same $700 mistake I made. Attached are photos of the bound panel and seal that caused the damage.

Being a do-it-yourselfer and not wanting to pay someone to install the cover, my wife and I took to the task. The cover came complete with all parts with nothing missing. The individual pouches make it fool proof if you open them in sequence as the instructions state. I have a Bed-Rug liner in my truck and I needed to know this cover would fit without messing with my liner. I was told it wouldn’t and it doesn’t. Many times after-market products arrive with missing parts, or you have to tweak the item to make it fit or work, this was not the case. I read through the detailed instructions several times to familiarize myself with the product and then started the installation. Being disabled and having to give myself extra time to finish the install, my wife and I finished it without a hitch. After the install I had to make one adjustment to the ramps and that was it. It works like a champ. The action is smooth and works perfectly. I have already had many comments about the cover and I send them to the Peragon website. The company answered all my questions from the order process to delivery. I highly recommend Peragon covers. Great job guys.

Hi this cover is the first one I have bought and I love it .It's water tight and keeps my tools safe and it looks good. I think for my first bed cover its a darn good buy I would recommend it to my friends . The only thing I think that peragon should sell with or as option is a divider that works with the cover and the way it opens cause if something gets under the cover where it drops down there is a lot of hassle to get the stuff out of the way to retract the cover so a barrier so that cargo doesn't go under the cover where it drops down at or peragon you guys should try a motorized cover that's way more durable and then it wouldn't matter what cargo was in the bed cause it wouldn't hang up on the cover but thanks for the great cover I love it

Just completed the install into new RAM 1500. The online videos are lifesavers with ton's more information than the install documents. Even if I thought I knew what to do I would refer to the video chapter first for each phase and generally picked up a tip. Overall, not too bad a process and by the next morning the gas cylinders were pushing the first two panels up flush and it looked great.

Still getting use to it but think I will really like it. Ton's better that the folding one I had on my old truck.

For the price it can't be beat.

Hello Robert. First and foremost, I would like to thank you for your feedback. While it isn’t the feedback that we have become accustomed to hearing, it is important nonetheless. We listen carefully and utilize customer feedback to continually improve our product.

We are sorry to hear that the Peragon cover did not work well for you. We have tens of thousands of customers around the country who love their covers and have given us overwhelmingly positive feedback on the quality and performance of the cover. No truck bed cover is perfect for everyone’s unique needs, but we stand behind our product 100%.

You purchased your Peragon bed cover in December 2014 and, while this is outside of our typical return policy, we genuinely don’t want any customers out there who are completely unhappy with the product. I have created a return authorization and will refund your full purchase price upon receiving the cover.

I did a lot of researching prior to purchasing the Peragon cover. I wanted a cover that not only looked great on the truck but had functionality along with the ability to get the cover out of the way when the entire truck bed was needed. Soon as I came across the Peragon cover I knew it was the right option for me; and then after researching the company and reading the reviews from all the satisfied customers it made the decision a no brainer. The customer support was great all the way thru the process and I have been recommending Peragon truck covers to everyone I know that has a truck. FYI, I bought the flashlight and would highly recommend it as well. Keep up the great work Peragon!
