The cover is an interesting design, however it leaks alot of water. The customer service was responsive and did offer to let me return it. The cover is a bit difficult to open and close when the truck is tall. The cover is reasonable for security. I have decided after 4 months of fighting with it to scrap it and buy something else. Everything in the bed is wet all the time. It leaks at every joint across the panels. It also leaks alot of water at the track/rollers. I talked to customer service about a water management system and they did not have anything to offer. I don't even feel responsible about giving it away. It will likely be cut up and scrapped. Hopefully the next generation will do a better job of keeping things dry.

Well made and easy enough to install. Provides the security and durability I was looking for. One of the most important things I was looking for was a bed cover that preserved as much bed space as possible and I thought this was the one.

I was wrong and I hope this review helps others not make my mistake. You are going to give up as much or more of your bed as you would a canister-based roll-up cover. If anything in your bed slides forward to within 18" of the cab you will not be opening or closing this cover. I am so damn tired of wriggling on my back or stomach up my truck bed to retrieve some small box or kids' soccer ball that rolled up and is blocking this cover from opening or closing. I need to rig something up that will go across the bed in front of the lift/lower ramps (located about where the Ford bedlink points are) of this cover to keep things from entering that space. Wishing I would have gone with a rollup and saved myself the constant trouble of fishing things out from under the cover just to get it closed/open. Maybe this is my fault and this significant limitation was disclosed during purchase. Other major regret was not returning it during that 100days.

Had this cover for about 3 years now. I wouldn’t buy again. Always leaked and only had gotten worse, weather stripping came undone after about 8 months, the accordion style is a cool idea but it’s actually really annoying if you actually use your truck especially when things are towards the cab. The strap gets in the way and tied around everything. The only thing I like about this is the look. It’s an over priced inconvenience to me.

I found writing this review difficult, as Peragon's inital customer support at the time of purchase and installation instructions were second to none. However, once purchase and installation are done and the years of maintenance become the focus, Peragon really drops the ball.

I have had the cover on my truck for 7 years. Over the years I have gotten more leaks at the cab and side rails. Also, the cover itself has become extremely hard to open and close, to the point I leave it closed all the time.

Now, Peragon offers lots of videos for installing the cover and how to remove it. However, I asked them specifically for a video on maintenance, as I am an extremely visual learner. They were able to offer me printable instructions which became confusing and eventually were forgotten on my desk.

Also, we use my truck for vacation and have to utilize every inch of the bed. When the cover is open, you lose approximately 8 inches of space at the cab. When every inch counts, that meant the cover needed to remain closed. So i have to lay down (not easy at my age), pack it in a hot baked oven of an area with help of others handing me things.

Given all this, I have now switched to an Extang trifold cover. I will now have full acces to my bed, open and closing won't require any maintenance, and it was about half the cost of the Peragon.

Again, feel bad writing this, but over the years, the lack of support for maintenance and difficulty utilizing the full capacity of the bed for packing became too much of an issue.

Let me preface this by saying I use my truck as a tool for my job. I'm a roofing contractor and operate my bed cover frequently. I've had it for over a year so this review comes with experience with the bed cover.
1) I love the way the cover looks. It's recessed, sleek, and the glossy paint makes my ram really stand out.
2) I like that it stores inside the bed and doesn't bloke the back glass like most foldable covers. You have to pull directly back on the strap or the cover wants to travel left or right and the panels will fall off the tracks.
3) This thing functions on several different principles so if you bump bracket or cause any stress to one of these parts your screwed - it's infuriating. It's like having a relationship with a crazy chick and don't be fooled, it is a relationship. You go every where together, depend on each other and if a small thing happens, she's going to f up your day. I keep about a 2k in tools in my bed so when this happens it's a big deal.
4) Make sure everything in you bed stays static while you drive. Should a can of paint or gas can or any object roll to your bed the cover won't function because the panels need the spaces to fold down and store in the front portion of the bed. If this does happen you have to crawl under the cover to get said object out of the way.
5) You'll need two people with an engineering degree to install this thing. It would be nice if things were color coordinated. Luckily they have a video that you'll rewind and watch 20 times to install it.
6) It's not water proof, water resistant is being gracious.
7) the rubber gaskets in between my panels are messing up after a year worth of use.
8) Aluminum panels look nice but are roll formed. It would have been nice if they were extruded or heavier duty. There's no insulation or synthetic backing so be careful with them, they'll dent.

I believe the price is fair if they can work out some of these issues.

I didn’t feel the need to call customer support. The product feels more fragile than I had imagined. There was a lot of minor adjustments than needed to be made for smooth operation after the install. The instructions had gaps in the transition between the regular instructions and the quick clamp instructions.
The tonneau is not compatible with bed slides because of how low the panels hang in their stored position.
I have owned other tonneaus that were easier to install, more versatile, and more durable.
The cover is beautiful, and secure when locked.
If your concern is a good looking cover while driving around, this is a good choice. If you store a lot in your truck bed, and open your cover frequently, you might find a cover that isn’t so delicate, more comparable with truck bed accessories, and won’t be prevented from opening by shifting cargo.

We’re sorry to hear that you weren’t satisfied with the cover. While that is not the feedback we’re accustomed to hearing, we understand that the Peragon cover isn’t for everyone. We typically get more positive feedback on how robust and durable the cover is. Either way, this is why we have our industry-leading 100-day no risk trial and have accepted your return request. Thanks for trying Peragon.

Will eliminate a lot of usable space in your bed. What most people do not realize is that the cover will make the front 1/3 of your bed not usable. I was transporting a few boxes of christmas decorations and had the boxes pushed forward toward the cab since the entire bed was filled. Well when it came to unloading i had to crawl up into the bed and try to pull out the boxes because they were getting crushed by the mechanism of the cover itself. Nothing can be anywhere close to the front 1/3 of the bed or you will not be able to open this cover. Also water leaks a lot. I understand that all beds leak but this one leaks a lot. Also before you get this cover remember to think about the accessories you want to put into the bed as this will once again be in the way. I have a bed extender and it does not fit in-between the rails when i try to flip it open or closed. Installation was ok but all the metal parts came super sharp. I cut myself on the aluminum parts several times and then a few times after when using the bed it seems like there is no process of grinding or sanding the edges of metal parts. The cover looks good and customer service is great but in all honesty i have given it a chance for over a year and overall I think you lose too much bed usability. Also i wish they had some sort of a way to clip the unit closed when trying to remove it. Since I’m passed the 100 days i will most likely ebay this Cover since it has really not worked for me at all

After a year and a half, here is my review:
Initial impression was good, a solid quality product. After a little bit of use and a little bit of rain, it soon became clear this is not the bed cover for me. I expected a little bit of water intrusion, but not the amount I experienced. I was unable to store anything in the bed that couldn't get wet to any degree.

Another downside is, you have to be careful when loading the bed, otherwise you might not be able to open the cover. The cover requires a certain amount of headroom at the front of the bed(maybe 2 feet of unusable space? I didn't measure, just an approximation)

Finally, I just had a roller fall off. Again, I've had the bed cover since November of 2014 and open it on average once a day.

In summation, this bed cover is not for me. I'm sure it has its market and fan club, but not here. I wouldn't buy this bed cover again, due to the amount of water infiltration, the loss of cargo space, and longevity of the product. I hope this helps at least one person in their decision and, in the companies R&D.

This is my second review of my bed cover. I have had the cover for about 8 months now. I absolutely love the looks and function of the Peragon cover but I started to have issues with water leakage. I contacted customer service and Rebecca gave me some suggestions on minimizing the leaks. We went back and forth quite a bit trying to correct the problem. For every tweak that I did the leakage got worse. It got to a point that the rollers were starting to rust. Peragon paid to have the cover sent back and determined that there might have been some shipping damage. They made a new cover and sent it to me. It still leaks. I know that the cover is not guaranteed to be leak proof but it seems to be excessive. It leaks even after a short rain shower. I have a BedRug and it is always wet and starts to smell bad. I can’t leave anything in the bed that will be damaged by water. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a cover. I am afraid that when the summer rains come here in Florida I will have a real problem. I will say that Paragon’s customer service is second to none. Rebecca was always very pleasant and helpful. In the long run, I don't think that this cover is going to work for me.

top is extremely hard to install. it is almost impossible for one person to put the cover back on after you have removed it. ALL measurements are extremely critical to 1/32 of an inch.. the rubber end caps are poorly designed, one small screw holds them in place and they fall off too easy. the top leaks when it rains. I bought a used topper for $75 and put it on my truck in place of the $699 paragon. I have owned my first and last paragon topper quad fold .

Please note: The mounting brackets are slotted to allow for flexibility when mounting the cover. The mounting brackets can be shifted front and back to accommodate a wide variety of installations.

Great cover for someone who doesn't utilize a lot of their bed and your just trying to cover up their bed for security purposes. If you have loose cargo/ tools in the bed and they slide to the back you CANNOT open the cover. I'm very disappointed by this and I will removing this cover. I know the purpose of the aluminum panels is to save on weight but I feel they are too flimsy and eventually going to get dinged and banged up in no time. The lock feature is great and brings peace of mind to securing my tools in the bed. Unfortunately there are to many drawbacks to using this cover for a working man's truck for it to be an affective cover for me and the practicality of it isn't there so I will be removing and purchasing a canister type retractable cover for the same price as this one was

Like the concept but in my experience, several things need to be improved in order to get better rating. First and foremost, the cover leaks quite a bit of water. I expected some minor leaking but this cover leaks on every side. I tried putting a bead of silicon under the side rubber seals but that did not help. It also leaks at the tail gate and at the bed header where there are direct opening that the design naturally does not seal well. Secondly, the way the rails are mounted and cantilever over the bed walls, does not offer any support and people who enter the bed naturally want to lean on or sit on the rails. This will eventually cause them to bend or fail. Thirdly, the cover sags some where the lock engages and cold be improved other with better positioning or heavier duty air shocks. Finally, the installation requires drilling holes into the bed and that is not preferred. To be fair, these are my initial findings and I have not contacted Peragon yet. Nor have they followed up with a customer to confirm they are satisfied. It is a pretty expensive item and I would think they might want to confirm issues.
