Peragon Retractable Tonneau Pickup Truck Bed Cover Reviews

We like doing a lot of outdoor activities including camping, boating, fishing and everyday adventures like surviving the grocery store. We specifically bought the Peragon truck bed cover, because we knew there was going to be either rain or snow at Yosemite during our last trip. And we wanted to protect and secure our gear.
I installed the truck bed cover with ease myself, but I would consider myself a sort of Handyman. It only took a couple hours to install. The cover was delivered in only a couple days from ordering it and it was received directly on my door step.
I had researched a number of covers before purchasing the Peragon Cover. The decision was based on: Good Reviews, Good Price and that it was American Made.
I have not been disappointed.
My Son (at 105 lbs.) climbed on top of the cover and it did not buckle. He was chasing his remote control X-Wing fighter into the neighbor's yard. I would not recommend trying this, but I was surprised at the resiliency of the cover.

And Yes, everything in the truck bed stayed 99% dry and 100% secure. Please note, we did not add any extra weather proofing, everything stayed very dry with the cover as it came right out of the box. With a little extra weatherproofing, I am sure everything would stay totally dry.

They deserve a sixth star! I can't remember ever dealing with another company that offered such incredible customer service. I have owned my bed cover for about six years (and it is great!). I recently called about a part and I spoke to a rep (Jacob) who gave new meaning to the words friendly, helpful, concerned and thorough. After the initial call we communicated via email - in real time! I wrote, he responded immediately. I'm still amazed at the level of service and professionalism I received. As far as I'm concerned, this company has no competitors. Their product is top of the line and so is their service. If you are considering the purchase of a bed cover look no further. This product and this company can not be beaten.

Really happy with my Peragon truck cover for my Nissan Titan! My main goal was a cover to act like a car's trunk when needed… able to lock my stuff up and keep dry…as well as ease of access for full bed use without time consuming detachment of the cover. I spent weeks and weeks looking for the best cover at the best price, definitely satisfied without any regrets. With the help of step by step Youtube installation videos, installation was a snap without much difficulty. Only flaw I've come across is that you can't store much close to the cab with the bed cover extended as the bed cover needs to be able to roll up and down the "ramps" to operate. However, this can be resolved by extending the cover and storing needed items directly from tailgate area. No worries, great product. Recommend to anyone!

I bought this cover a few weeks ago for my 2015 Ram truck. I have had other covers in the past, but this is by far the finest one I have ever owned. I ordered the standard white cover and it match my white truck perfectly. The on line videos helped make installation very simple. Actually it was kind of fun doing it. I have been through a lot of heavy rains since I installed it and have yet to see any leaks. I highly recommend this quality cover!

Bought this cover for a 2015 F250. I priced a similar topper at East Coast Accessories in Va Bch that actually was NOT made as well as the Peragon for $1098.00 plus $189.00 for installation. I also purchased the lock and stainless hardware for a total price of $ $757.00. My father-in-law and I installed it in less than 2 hours. This company has tutorial videos to assist in the installation. Absolutely awesome topper!!! ‪#‎NoBrainer!

I would like to start off saying I've been shopping bed covers for a while, and my Peragon bed cover has been installed now for almost a month, and during that month it has been through a lot of rain, 4" just yesterday.

With all the rain we have had lately I can safely say that the cover keeps out most of the water, after 4" fell all day yesterday and 3.5" the day before the amount of water than got into the bed of the truck was very little. I could see where my bed rug was damp at the right wheel well, and that was it. No bed cover is 100% waterproof and this small amount is well within reason.

The rails appear to be very high quality and the powder coated finish is nearly flawless. The cover itself looks very nice and glides in the rails with minimal effort, finish is nearly flawless on it as well.

As far as the install goes, the instructions provided were very thorough, and vehicle specific. Getting the rails centered as well as getting the proper amount of washers to set the rail height was rather finicky. Using a stack of washers to adjust height looks a little cheap, but it serves the purpose and works well.

The only issue I ran into was when installing the cover and connecting the gas struts to the cover as well as the frame. The rollers for the cover touches the gas struts making the last panel not sit flush with the others when fully opened. Also makes the cover difficult to remove, the triangulated ramps have an adjustment bolt to set tension and I have to completely loosen that bolt and press against those ramps to get the cover to clear them and come out. Most likely there is an adjustment to make with those ramps and would solve the issue.

Overall I really like the cover, and have recommended it to a few others and will co tinge to do so.

First, and foremost, Peragon customer service is fantastic. I was displeased with the way my original cover had worn and, although I was outside of the warranty period, Paragon sent me a brand new cover. Initial installation was very straightforward; instructions and support were great. I have owned my cover for about 2 1/2 years now and have learned a few things. Most importantly, if you are going to travel for any length of time with the cover folded, make sure that you don't bind the folded cover too tightly, and find something to slide between the folded panels for extra cushioning (I use sections of inexpensive corrugated plastic). If you don't do this, there is a high likelihood of marring the surface of the cover panels. Bottom line: this isn't the greatest truck bed cover ever created, but it is hard to deny how hard Peragon works to back up their product and earn customer confidence.

I have to say that part of the reason I purchased this cover was because of the great customer service reviews. While doing the installation, I had some questions, and the person at Paragon couldn't have been better. By the time I was finished with her, we seemed like old friends. Over a year after my purchase, I needed a small part that I had inadvertently damaged. The service tech only asked for my address, not my credit card number. That's right, they sent it out for free! They even paid the shipping. Now that's service. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a bed cover. Great deal at a great price, and made in the USA!

we love, love, love our cover. We've been looking for a long time to find a cover that would work for our purposes and boy did we find the right cover. It's easy to install, easy to remove and we can load anything without wasting precious time with complicated hard shell covers. We picked the color matched version and the color matches perfectly. It looks as though the cover came with the truck. Many people has asked us about the cover, every time we go to Home Depot or Lowe's there are some contractors that ask us about this cover, especially when they see hoe we just push it back and load with ease. Also the customer service at Peragon is wonderful. Overall this was the best purchase we have made in a long time and we want to thank Peragon for the great quality and wonderful product they developed.

I'm a 67 year old retiree who loves American Made Companies that follow through with there product and services! This company is a true icon of product, service, support and follow-through. The care and ease of receiving and putting together the cover was awesome. When I called for support it was immediate and very friendly and understanding.

I did hours of research before selecting a peragon truck cover. I am very happy with my selection. The utube videos made installation a breeze. The ability to use the full truck bed is awesome. I have never seen another cover that allows you to install bed rails along with the cover. I highly reccomend peragon truck covers.

Let me start by saying that Jacob is first rate. Not only did he help me place the order, which arrived in three days, but he followed up with me once I received the cover.
With so many choices of bed covers and me being a first time truck owner I wanted to make a purchase that I would not regret. Several of my pals had opinions and I did some research and came across the Peragon website. After looking at the price, the options, and the practicality of the Peragon cover I decided to purchase one for my truck.
To make the install much easier one should find and extra set of hands. I had a friend help and it took around 3 hours with breaks as it is still in the 90s here in Texas. We found the drawings very crude and provide minimal visual instructions. The written part of the instructions and the videos are needed for the install. Once we assembled the frame and attached the brackets to the bed we needed the extra washers provided in order to align the cover vertically. Make sure to measure the distance between the rails horizontally as well to insure proper rail alignment. This took most of the install time as things kept moving. Once complete the cover worked like a dream. The cover looks great, the bearings roll great, and the coating feels durable. I purchased the extra gasket, but I do not need it right now as the cover closes right at the tailgate making a good seal. I will keep the gasket as they do go bad over time.
Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and I would recommend this product to a friend.

I was very impressed with Peragon before I even installed the bed cover. My truck is a 2003 Silverado and I ordered a paint matched cover. Shortly after placing my order, I received a phone call to confirm my bed length and also that I wanted a color matched cover because of the age of my vehicle and that the paint may not match due to fading. I assured them my truck has been very well kept and does not have any fading. I really appreciated their concern for my satisfaction before I even fully placed the order. Upon receipt of the cover at my home, they called me to verify delivery and let me know they are available anytime to help with install. The install itself was fairly straight forward and the online videos where extremely helpful via my tablet in the garage. I gave ease if install a 90 only because of the step that recommends taping the seal up on the side rails with masking tape vice painters tape. I used masking tape on one side and painters on the other. I didn't find it really necessary and the side with masking tape left residual glue on the rail and gasket. Recently I took my boat to the River and when I was pulling the boat out, I rolled the cover up and dropped the tail gate so I could see my trailer. Couldn't do that with my old solid cover! Overall, I am very satisfied and drove the truck into work today. You should have two more orders coming from some of my buddies!!

Excellent cover, great looking, perfect color match. Installation was very easy. Instructions in the manual are more important then video.
The main comment is, that this cover was ordered from Canada. So with shipping, color matching and dollar conversion it was still much cheaper, than buying it here.

From the beginning the customer service is awesome and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The available videos make the installation foolproof. Most of the installation can be accomplished by one person with help only needed in setting the framework up on the truck. Slight water intrusion when going through a high pressure wash. I am anxious to see how it performs during a rainstorm (if it ever rains again in CA). The cover looks great and is a better value than most others I have seen. I found the Peragon online by chance and am glad I chose it over the roll up covers.

I've had my cover for about two weeks now. After a brief break-in period of maybe ten or twelve openings, the cover and locking mechanism operate flawlessly.
I am extremely impressed with the quality of fit and water tightness. I went through one pretty heavy rain shower, and ended up with maybe a quarter cup of water in the bed. The parts are high quality, and machined to a very precise fit.
I found that the installation process is straightforward if you read the manual, and watch the videos with each step. Leveling the rails took me a few tries, but once there, the system works exactly as advertised. You can not put a heavy load on the closed cover, but I was aware of that before I purchased it.
I am very pleased with my new Peragon.

This is by far the best bed cover I have ever used. while not meant to be waterproof it does a great job. I had vinyl covers on past trucks and was debating a rollup. Due to not using it much I decided to go with the cheaper method and go with this folding cover. I like it so much I have found I use it all the time.
Now I marked down the ease of install not because it was difficult because it wasn't but because I had to drill holes in the bed of the truck. Due to the potential of rust to form I dont like to do any alterations to the metal. To avoid any rust problems I took a tube of clear silicone and rubbed it all over any exposed metal or area i drilled through.
O and you cant beat American made!

I needed a locking cover that could be easily moved out of the way for towing a 5th wheel trailer. This cover fits the bill. Installation was completed in a couple of hours, it takes a bit of time/effort to get the rails perfectly straight but you will be glad you did when it comes to ease of operating the cover. A determined party will still be able to access your truck bed with the cover on and locked, but it provides some amount of weather protection (use plastic tubs or similar for complete protection) and keeps things out of sight. Extremely happy with the looks and functionality of this cover after several months of use.
Stellar customer support also; I needed to replace an end cap and was promptly informed that a pair would be sent immediately, no charge at all. Great experience, would highly recommend this product and this company.

The cover is of high quality construction...seems very durable and looks great on the truck. Beautiful finish. The installation was not difficult but rather tricky to get operating smoothly. Only required a few adjustments. The weather stripping near the tailgate started to pull off a bit. The tail gate closes snug and does not seem to let any water in. I would prefer a thicker rubber weather stipping attached with screws instead of the peel and stick variety. But all in all, I am very happy with my decision, lets see how it holds up!
