Peragon Retractable Tonneau Pickup Truck Bed Cover Reviews

Extremely satisfied with my Peragon bed cover. It has great appearance, keeps my gear out of site, and keeps water out better than I anticipated. I like a clean truck. I work in construction and run my truck through the car wash 3-5 times a week. Very minor amounts of water make it into the bed.

I had to make a few adjustments after installation to level the cover for it to slide along the tracks without force but an easy fix. I highly recommend Peragon bed covers.

Love the product overall, having a bed cover that can be easily removed and not made of fabric is great. I’ve had it on my truck for a few months and it’s awesome.

The customer service is what really sets Peragon apart. Probably one of the best, if not the best. I had an issue and they went well beyond what I thought they might do. Their customer service staff was proactive and very helpful.

If I ever have to get a different truck in the future I’m coming straight to Peragon first!

I wouldn’t say the install was simple but the videos made it that way. It’s slick sturdy and great looking on my truck

Now that I have the cover on I love it. I was surprised that there is a improvement in my gas mileage. The operation is easy and it looks great.

So far this thing looks fantastic. Of all the covers I’ve seen this has the best look. Very low profile and makes the truck look very custom. Haven’t tested it in the rain yet so interested to see how water resistant it is. I did have some issues with getting fit right but now seems to be good after maybe an hr or getting it just right. The clips that hold the panel in by the cab I feel could be sturdier because I had to take rails off and retighten just to make sure they were sturdy. Worried if I remove the panel a bunch that it may bend the tabs. As of now though it slides easily. Locks very solid and is exactly what i was looking for.

I got the Peragon Limited HDx Edition for my truck to use primarily for Mountain Biking. I wanted a cover that could be opened when I wanted to put my bikes in the bed and use a tailgate pad, aswell as give me the option to keep the cover securely closed when I put the bikes on a hitch rack. This is the perfect cover for that.
I can open the cover and lock it in position at the rear of the bed and have plenty of room to put bikes in the bed as well as anything else like my pumps, helmets, pads, etc. The cover can be locked in the open position so there's no chance of it hitting the bikes.
When I've got the hitch rack on I can still store all of my accessories in the bed and close the cover.
One of the things I really appreciate is that when I leave the truck and head out on the trail I know that the cover is locked up so no one can break into the bed, and the aluminum panels mean that even if someone tried their chances would be very low. Locking and unlocking is super easy with the simple push or pull of a knob.
Outside of mountain biking we have two kids playing sports and their gear can get quite stinky. Having the option to throw their gear in the bed and lock it up while we make a stop on the way home for lunch or dinner is fantastic. No one wants that stink inside their truck.
The quality and finish on the cover is exceptional and it really does look sharp.
I did not have to interact with customer service at all because the installation videos were so well done. I even had my 10 year old helping me with the install.
I cannot recommend this cover highly enough.

My install took me approximately 3 hours and came out great. Peragon did a fantastic job having vehicle specific written instructions and videos that are very well done. The layout of the hardware pouches using them step by step also made installing a breeze. I had no need to contact their technical support for help. I did have the usual issues I read in the review comments getting it lined up and square but with a little adjustment and patience it all worked out. It opens and closes smoothly. Pulling the rubber seals on the rails with a credit card was a bit of a struggle but again not all that hard.

You can’t fill the bed and close it (or open it). This is the biggest one for me. I’ve only had top folding bed covers and that was not an issue. This may cause me to get a different one, honestly.
Installation seemed simple but I needed to adjust it a bunch of times to get it to operate correctly.

No problems so far, fit and finish are pretty nice. Installation took about 2 hours, just because I needed to go to my neighbor to borrow a wrench :)

When I bought my 2017 King Ranch it had a Leer fiberglass tonneau topper, painted to match and that looked very nice but basically turned your truck bed into a large trunk. It was a complete pain in the you-know-what to remove, store, and put back on when you needed to haul something big in your truck bed.
The Peragon HD Limited is everything I was looking for in a bed cover. Extremely easy to open and close, multiple use positions, easy to remove and store when not in use, secure, durable, QUIET, and very sharp looking Had a few challenges installing it but that was mostly because I did it 100% myself. An extra set of hands would have helped in a few situations.
Customer Service was also amazing. I went to the website and chatted with Rebecca describing an issue with my tailgate sticking after installation. She had me send her two photos of the back end of my truck with the tailgate down and immediately recognized that the rails were too low on the tailgate end. A quick adjustment and everything was perfect.
I HIGHLY recommend Peragon truck covers.

I bought the Ultimate Cover for my 2022 Tacoma based on the reviews. First off, I have never put something like this together before, as this is my first truck! So, I watched the videos that were suggested several times as well as those from YouTube. I also read the instructions, and compared both the videos and printed instructions as I went along. I was able to do all of it myself, however, it took me quite a while. I am fairly handy, but had to have help on a couple of occasions because the instructions were not exactly clear. I did not call customer support, because I was able to figure it out. I think if the guy on the video went a little slower and showed the parts up close after installing them for more than a second, it would greatly help. The diagrams in the manual could be better with more written instruction. Overall, it seems to be a great cover and was not that bad to assemble. It looks great and everyone likes it!

I would like to preface by saying I don't usually write reviews. But I have had such an overwhelming positive experience that I feel it is warranted. I purchased the cover back in 2018 and have been extremely satisfied with it since. Prior to the purchase I looked into various covers on the market, in all price ranges and different manufactures. At first, Peragon stood out to me as the most aesthetically pleasing cover because of its low profile and lack of 'bulk' that other retraceable covers have near the back window. Overall its a sharp looking addition. However, it also became apparent that the build quality was on par or exceeds much of the big name brands out there today. Living in Hawaii I am constantly taking my truck to the beach, off-roading and it sees heavy use. The cover has stood up to all those conditions better than expected.

Another expectational benefit of Peragon is their customer service. Through the years I have has some minor issues with the cover. I.e, things like end caps being jarred lose, or small gaskets that needed to be replaced. Peragon asked no questions and shipped those parts out for free. The company has been amazing and I will be a customer for life.

If you're on the fence about their products, do it! You wont be disappointed.

This Peragon cover looks really sharp on my truck. It went through 70 mph winds and torrential rain from tropical storm Ophelia and Did Not Leak!

The cover fits well and works as advertised. As far as installation, it is straight-forward and relatively easy to do. I did have to find some more washers beyond those supplied to shim the rails properly.

Over all, I am happy and would recommend a Peragon Tonneau cover.

I've had many bed covers but this one is by far the best! Installation took about an hour (less time if I had help) and the operation and locking system is smooth and positive. This cover is well worth money and would recommend to anyone asks where I purchased it from.

Installation took an afternoon, maybe a couple hours by myself. Most of the install time was making sure everything was “perfectly” aligned and tightened.

The instruction manual was very easy to follow and the images were easy to distinguish. There are QR codes throughout the book with each step that links to a video for every section of the install. Between the manual and the step by step videos, installation was a breeze!

It was packaged ‘em very well in 2 separate boxes and no damage whatsoever. The install parts come in a bag/pouch and is in the order of use…which made the install even easier!

The first couple days, the cover was hard to open and close, but that’s due to brand new seals and things have not settled.
After 3 days of keeping it closed and occasionally opening/closing to loosen it up, it has become very easy to open and close now.

Because it was hard to open and close in the beginning, I contacted support and they were very quick, helpful and accommodating!
I was worried that I had installed it wrong, but they gave me some tips and even sent me FAQ videos for my specific situation.

With the desert in my back yard and the snow season around the corner, I will be installing the seal kit that comes with it.

All in all, the matte black finish, aluminum panels and ease of opening/closing…this seems to be a perfect setup for me.

Just got the cover and installed and am loving it! Was concerned at first that it might interfere with my Swing Cases in the back, but it turns out the install went right around them. No problem! Thanks a million guys! This thing is awesome!

Easy to install easy to use and easy to maintain. The cover shipped approx a week prior to initially anticipated, came well packaged with no issues. Ordered the additional bed seal and all works well. Holds up well in the rain with no leaks, will know soon snuff how it does in the snow. All in all very pleased have already recommended to my friends and would recommend to anyone looking for great looking and functioning cover.
Only thing I'd like to see is in product description inform the consumer how much space cover takes up when stored in open position. Doesn't effect me but was almost a deal breaker at the time of purchase because of the uncertainty of useable bed space with cover stowed.
