First I would like to explain that I am 82 years old. So anyone in decent health should be able to install this unit. The installation manual is excellent & the video aids were superb. By viewing them really helped in starting the project & helped greatly as you progresed in re-reviewing some areas that kept me from making mistakes. I only needed Customer Service once because at the very end I thought I made a mistake, as it turned out it was not a mistake. When I tested the cover it rolled OK but did no close completely. I failed to read that the cover will not close completely untill the gas pistons are installed. completing that last step everything worked perfectly.

I have waited to send in my review because I wanted to test my bed cover thoroughly prior to doing so.
First off I would like to say that you will not find a similar product that is so well made, so well supported, priced so reasonably, and made in the USA. My experience was if I had contracted a one off to be made by a local machine shop. It is solidly made of all metal construction, customer service was bar none the best from ordering, technical support, all the way through follow up calls and emails to insure I was fully satisfied. That is worth the price alone. I also very much appreciate Peragon's support of the U.S. Military and the free upgrades they had included with my purchase. The cover is very durable and has survived the weight of several feet of snowfall without any distortion. There is some wind buffeting, but this makes no noticeable noise whatsoever as it is mounted securely in it's tracks and has rubber seals between each panel. Though Peragon will not guarantee their product being 100% leak free, the seals have kept out all rain and snow melt-off and I have only experienced some water from my stake pockets which I could easily correct.
I do have a few recommendations:
Peragon:
1)Have a Full Page at the very beginning of your instructions that states not to continue making adjustments if the panels don't close just right. You are correct, after driving for a short while, everything set in perfectly.
2)Get rid of the cheap plastic slide clip you provide with the pull strap. 2 have broken on me so far while closing the liner. I have replaced this with a 2 part buckle style type that I removed from a $2 strap for tying up sleeping bags. This makes securing a folded bed cover a snap.
3) How about a few more brackets to make the cover even more secure to the bed rail?
4) In the instructions for the end rail plugs, make it clear that the screw is actually fitting into the circular part in the track. My screws missed completely.

Consumer:
1) Listen to Peragon and all of their recommendations. Super Glue is the only good choice for the end rail plugs. They can be installed after the tracks are in place if you use a Phillips bit and a 1/4" wrench.
2) If you are assembling the rail system without help, I found it easier to protect the bed rails with some towels and assemble it across the bed. There is less chance of bending the rails or scratching your truck. Just climb in the bed, lift up, and rotate into position.

I am 1000% satisfied with my Peragon cover,

I chose this cover for my 2015 Ram because I wanted a few specific things from a bed cover.
1. I wanted it to be secure so I opted for the double locking system.
2. I wanted a cover that is versatile; you can fold it up for use of the bed with ease.
3. The cover could be easily removed in case I need to load the whole bed. The easy release of the panels works great.
4. A cover that enhances the looks of my truck. I opted for white with the matt finish and it looks great.
Customer service is excellent. When I called to order the cover they told me it would take 4 weeks to deliver. I explained that I was leaving for vacation and needed the cover to protect my luggage and tools. I needed the cover around 3 & ½ weeks. The representative told me she would let me know if that was not possible. I received an e-mail the next day with a shipping date 2 days prior to when I was scheduled to leave. The cover came in right on time and I was able to install it the day before I had to travel. The installation is pretty easy and took about three hours. Since I live around salt water I also ordered the stainless hardware. The only issue I ran into with the installation was a couple of the stainless bolts for some reason when I got the nuts about half way up started to bind. If you are familiar with stainless nuts and bolts once this happens you only have one choice. That is to cut or break them off. That caused me extra time because I had to run to the store and pick up a couple extra stainless bolts. My recommendation is oil the bolts and pre test the nuts before you put them in the channel of the cover. Once they lock up it strips our the channel where the bolt sits and then you have to move the brackets a couple of inches either way so the bolt head will grab when you replace it.
The other issue I ran into on the front of the bed they have a long rubber seal that is there to keep water out. If you plan on traveling more the 65 MPH this seal will start to sound like a helicopter. I tried it straight out in front and then I folded it under the rail. Both ways the wind pulled the center out and the noise is terrible. If you have this problem you can do what I had to do. Cut the rubber lip completely off. I only left the corners folded under. I took a weather strip of 1 inch thick with self stick tape on one side and stuck that to the steal part of the cover on the underside. I lifted the whole front cover by removing the front two bolts and put silicone across the top of the bed. This way you have a good seal and there is nothing left for the wind to grab. I do wish the metal was a little thicker as I can see it flutter at high speed. It is a great usable cover and looks good too!

There isn't enough good I can say about Peragon! Not only do they make a primo product but their customer service is fantastic both before and after purchase!

Installation was a breeze, I did it alone. The instructions are simple and the online videos are very helpful.

I opted for the custom color match and its worth every penny. The paint job was flawless and smooth as glass. It looks awesome on the back of my 2015 F150 Platinum.

My cover arrived just when they said it would and I was so excited about it that I installed it after working 10 and a half hours. Took me about 2 hours and I even ate dinner in between. Took a little tweaking to get it operating real smooth but that didn't take long. Since my truck is so tall, I even added a strap to open the cover from the rear of the truck. Very happy I chose Peragon. Good people to deal with and a great product!

Installed my second Peragon Cover recently. First one was back in 2011 on my Honda Ridgeline and this time on my 2014. Pulled up the Peragon install instructions on You-Tube as well as had the included instruction that came in the box available and install took about 1.5 hours. In the 3 years I had my first cover I did absolutely nothing to it and it held up well and worked perfectly when sold. The new one seems to have been refined a little and I'm more than impressed with the quality and service from Peragon. Nice to find a company that backs their product 100%.

Like the concept but in my experience, several things need to be improved in order to get better rating. First and foremost, the cover leaks quite a bit of water. I expected some minor leaking but this cover leaks on every side. I tried putting a bead of silicon under the side rubber seals but that did not help. It also leaks at the tail gate and at the bed header where there are direct opening that the design naturally does not seal well. Secondly, the way the rails are mounted and cantilever over the bed walls, does not offer any support and people who enter the bed naturally want to lean on or sit on the rails. This will eventually cause them to bend or fail. Thirdly, the cover sags some where the lock engages and cold be improved other with better positioning or heavier duty air shocks. Finally, the installation requires drilling holes into the bed and that is not preferred. To be fair, these are my initial findings and I have not contacted Peragon yet. Nor have they followed up with a customer to confirm they are satisfied. It is a pretty expensive item and I would think they might want to confirm issues.

Finished the cover installation today. I was worried about ordering the new 2015 F150 Guard color, but it turned out to be a perfect factory match. I was having some other items installed, so had an independent shop do the installation. The two techs doing the work, who had never seen a Peragon cover, took about two hours for the assembly and then another 1/2 hour of 'tweeking'. The cover looks great on the truck, but still is a little stiff to operate. I think it just needs to be used.

First I have to say that the Paragon customer support is unbeatable.
They did their best to help correct the problems I was experiencing and they immediately sent out replacement parts. My truck cover looks great but it is difficult to operate. I tried every adjustment possible and repeated the installation from step one but it just takes way too much effort to operate. The cover looks great so I will take style over comfort for now.

This was my 3rd Peragon Bed Cover and each one has surpassed my expectations. All three have been on Ford trucks (2011/2015 F150 and a 2012 F250). All three were very easy to install and the customer support was even better. I had one issue with the panels on my 2012 folding up under the air dryer from a carwash, and one call to Peragon and they remedied the situation without question.

Good cover like the design. But i think the 6' bed cover rails should have 3 mounts instead of 2 and i think the cover material itself should be a little more rigid so its not so flimsy riding down the highway..

I am very happy with the Peragon cover. It provides security of my valuables and/or concealment of my belongings. I color matched to my truck and would rate the paint job 8.5 out of 10. There are inside corners that could have been painted a bit better but satisfied with the overall paint job minus some runs on some panels. Installation was relatively easy and was able to do myself. One thing that I was not happy with is the bed rails on my Ford. The rails have 3 ridges and the molding on around the rails does not sit flush with the bed rails. I believe if the molding would be wider it would provide a better seal from the elements on both left and right sides. I added clear silicone to stop some water from seeping in and while it does an ok job the silicone finish is kind of ugly.I believe the small issue I have with the molding can be fixed with some engineering changes depending on the truck. I do understand that no cover is waterproof but the molding on the borders should rest flush with the bed rail covers. The best thing on this cover is the ability to open and close which is why I chose Peragon. I like the ability to open and close whenever and have never had the need to remove the cover yet. I purchased my cover in December of 2014. Overall the company provides outstanding customer service from beginning to end which is hard to find these days. 100% USA customer service all the way. I will buy another cover in the future because it works.

First Class Customer Support - unmatched by any experience I've ever had from any industry.

Gave strength and Durability 100% based on first impressions, haven't had the cover long enough for real world rating.

Ease of Installation graded as 90% because of two factors. 1) the stainless hardware (bolts and nuts) were substandard and I had to purchases replacements from Lowes. Two of the stainless bolts were not made correctly, it was clearly and issue from the bolt maker. I didn't want to wait for replacements, so went to Lowes. I have no doubt Peragon would have sent replacements. I suggest Peragon provided about two pieces of each assembly hardware piece. 2) the washer stacking to level the rails is a real pain the neck. Not sure of a solution to improve this process but it worked. Just need to take your time and have patience.

If you read this far...I want to reiterate; Peragon Customer Support is the top shelf! If you are on the fence about buying Peragon, know that you'll not find better Customer Support.
