A perfect 10 on all features. I did install and adjust all 4 mount points for the frame about 3 times to get it perfect, but when completed, the cover functions just as easy as the web site video depicted. I am very pleased with the function and looks. Already getting compliments on it and questions on how to buy one. Good quality so far and fair price compared to similar lockable bed cover products. I installed on a 2015 GMC Canyon and it fits like a glove.

We are so excited about our new Peragon Truck Bed cover we just couldn’t wait to tell you about it! We recently purchased a 2014 Ford F-150 and really wanted a nice tonneau cover for the 5'6" truck bed. We researched a number of different options. We previously had another type of bed cover on our last truck, but wanted to try something different.

We surely liked the Peragon Truck Bed Cover as it was solid aluminum. We live near the ocean so were looking for durability in the salty air. We loved the sleek look of the Peragon covers, and the retractability on sealed ball bearing rollers. We were thrilled to see that Peragon uses an Eco friendly process to produce their covers, and they are a family-owned American company! There were excellent reviews and amazing service support offered on the website. After a lot of discussion and prayer, we decided to go for it!

We were pleased to quickly receive the boxes from Peragon with our new tonneau cover. We had a relatively easy installation following the online videos along with the handwritten instructions. Now, we were eager to start using our new truck bed cover and hit the beach!

However...

To our surprise, after retracting the cover, when we went to flip up the bed extender we had purchased with our truck, it hit the sides of the truck bed cover.

Upon further investigation, we found we could install a spacer on each side of the back of the truck bed. We learned we could readily adjust the size of the bed extender by loosening the bolts and cutting the inner tube. It was actually constructed with two tubes fit inside one other to effortlessly modify the size of the bed extender. With the expert help of our friend Marty, we condensed the size of the bed extender so it would easily clear the side rails, hence solving the problem!

Now we have the best of both worlds. We feel we truly have a custom, quality product with the Peragon Truck Bed Cover over the AMP Research bed extender on our new truck. Now we can make plans to meet you at the beach where we can lock up all of your belongings under our secure Peragon Bed Cover and hit the waves for a superb time together! Surf’s Up with Peragon!

GREAT product. Installed it about a year or so ago, best beauty/functionality/exterior body upgrade I've done to the truck. Works great. ONLY two issues...the plastic clip provided for the pull strap broke on it's first attempt. I simply tied a knot in it instead, works flawlessly since. The other is the rubber end-caps, one fell off due to the pressure put on it from the tailgate cap since the tolerances on this thing are pretty tight (that's a good thing), but Peragon is sending two replacement pieces right away with a suggestion of how to put less pressure on the piece from the tailgate cap...cut the end cap flaps down a little bit! Great service with no questions asked from a made in USA product. Can't be beat with a stick anywhere else. Really.

I have been a truck owner my entire life.
I have tried it all, no cover, soft cover, folding cover and now the Peragon.
First not having to take the truck to someone else to touch it, that to me is a huge plus you never know what they are doing when your not watching. The installation was as easy as described, I'm sure the customer support is awesome but I had no need, the directions are very detailed and the youtube videos tell the story.
Everyone loves my truck, the first thing they say is "where did you get that cover, let me see it work".
If your hesitating at all don't, great value.

The installation fairly easy and took about 11/2 to 2 hrs to complete. I did call Peragon's customer service when I was first setting the cover into the track, I wasn't sure how to set it in. One call and my question was answered, and the cover works perfectly even with my fifth wheel installed. One other thing it looks good, see for yourself.

I waited a couple of months to give my review so I could validate my findings. I have a 2014 F150 with a 3.7L V6. I was disappointed with the fuel consumption when I purchased the new truck, but since I purchased the Peragon cover I couldn’t be happier with the truck. I bought the cover mostly for security and to store luggage.
I can’t say it took me a couple of hours to install, mostly because I am particular and try to abide by an old carpenters law of “Measure Twice and Cut Once”. It took me about 4 hours to install the cover, silicone a couple of voids between cover and bed, and install the tailgate seal kit.
However, I recently travelled to North Carolina to visit family and brought back approximately 1150 lbs. of furniture grade lumber. Before I installed the cover, I typically averaged 18.6 mpg on the highway. My round trip to NC was 2500 miles and I averaged 21.84 mpg overall. I thought that was fantastic since I was winding through Appalachian Mountains and came back a truck with a load of lumber.
My daily commute is 43 miles with a mixture of highway and in town driving. Houston freeways are famous for congestion and lots of freeway “stop n go” traffic. For the last couple of weeks I have calculated I am getting 17.4 mpg overall, whereas I was getting 16 mpg before purchasing the cover.

top is extremely hard to install. it is almost impossible for one person to put the cover back on after you have removed it. ALL measurements are extremely critical to 1/32 of an inch.. the rubber end caps are poorly designed, one small screw holds them in place and they fall off too easy. the top leaks when it rains. I bought a used topper for $75 and put it on my truck in place of the $699 paragon. I have owned my first and last paragon topper quad fold .

I asked Peragon if they could ship my order sooner because I needed to time to prepare for a road trip. They shipped my order 1 week early which completely met my needs. The installation was fairly simply. Took a little to get it adjusted so that it would operate smooth. The cover is on and it looks fantastic!! Thank you Peragon!

Boy am I glad I waited and researched what truck cover options were out there. I always thought I wanted a fiberglass cover, not sure why, just saw them the most. Then I realized they were not very functional. If I ever wanted to use my bed for hauling I would either have to take it off or leave it partially open. So I started researching multiple options. Then I saw the Peragon cover. The more I looked and compared with other products, the more I knew this was the best cover on the market for me. Then I became a little skeptical as I read all of the high reviews, could they be real? I had early questions and received very detailed answers, even pictures of my truck model with with he cover installed. I received emails after I placed my order with all of the documents I woudl need for the installation. Not only were the instruction truck specific, but there are online videos to help walk you through each step. You can see from the picture the cover fits like a glove and really compliments my truck. I just came back from a 2200 mile trip and used it in both the open and closed positions to fit my situation, even had better gas mileage.

Shopped on-line for 2 hours and stumbled upon Peragon. The price was reasonable, loved how it folded up so I took the risk and ordered it. Installation was difficult, but I followed the steps closely along with the YouTube videos. Friends and family thought the truck bed cover was part of the new design from factory GM!!! Thanks for making a great product.

This cover is amazing. The directions and You Tube videos to help install are full of detail and easy to understand. This is a two person install and can be done by your self as long as your mechanically inclined. I have to say is very water resistance only in a very heavy rain and parked did I see a couple of drips of water inside bed. Easy to open and close once adjusted. I would recommend this bed for anyone it gives your Truck a very high end finished functional look. And looks better than a leather snap down cover when driving down the highway. Worth every last penny. Make sure you get the tailgate seal kit and stainless steel kit well worth the price and will make your truck bed last much longer.

After Months of careful research, I selected the Peragon cover over the rest. I was impressed with the owner and his new approach to customer satisfaction. Reviews from 2006 and earlier were less than stellar, but Heath stepped up and acknowledged the problems and offered those folks a solution and in many cases they excepted and were very happy. I also understand that some people once dissatisfied will just never be happy no matter what is done for them. Anyway, Instructions were easy to follow along with the YouTube videos and were custom to my truck. I love my new cover and it only took around 2 hours by myself (I recommend getting help) to install and it looks and works great. I also installed a Bedrug bed liner at the same time and they look great together. I have already had people stop me in parking lots to inquire about my new Peragon cover, (just don't see this kind of cover in small town Oregon). I have also noticed an increase in fuel economy which is nice because my wife tends to be a little heavy footed. Thanks for the call after delivery, this has been a fantastic buying experience, I will recommend you to all my fiends and family

I bought this three years ago for my Toyota Tundra so I could keep my snowboard and golf clubs in the back and not worry about it. For the price this is the best product on the market. It's durable, doesn't take up much room in your bed and its easy to remove if needed. I broke one of the sliding wheels within the 1st month of having it and Peragon sent me a piece to repair it with instructions without a hassle. For the most part this cover will keep everything dry in your bed. It will leak a little on the sides if there is a big rain storm but that is expected. The only complaint I have is the the top doesn't slide quite as easily as some of the videos led me to believe. A big part of this problem might be I installed it myself. I am planning on buying another one for the next truck I get and I recommend it to people all the time.

Absolutely the most unique truck bed cover on the market. After researching bed covers I chose Peragon for its versatility, prince, and it's style. I reviewed online the installation manual and watched the videos. A few days later the bed cover arrived and I was able to install in just 3 or 4 hours without any problems ( other than the 100 degree heat index). The color coded packaging of the hardware is a huge time saver during assembly. I just followed the instructions and it installed without any adjustments. Works like a charm and
Complements my F150. I highly recommend the dual dead bolt locking system for added security. This is a very cool and practical truck accessory. You won't be disappointed!

Mike,

I had the opposite problem in that my tailgate would not close. But, you can adjust the location of the frame on the front of the bed without much trouble. I made this adjustment with the tailgate up, and it worked perfectly!

Today is 30July2015. I installed my Peragon tonneau cover on the July 4th weekend, so I was pretty much on my own. I just returned from a 2,000+ mile mountain road trip in my new 2015 Ram 1500. So now I can tell you a little bit about my Peragon experience. I am a semi-retired computer systems engineer so design and functionality are important to me. I live on a farm in central Texas where it is hot and dusty. After much Internet research I found what I felt was the best tonneau for the money and functionality. This is not my first truck, but it is my first tonneau cover. The Peragon came in on time as advised when I ordered it. It was packaged in order of installation steps which I thought was smart. I watched the installation videos, available on the Internet, over and over. I did the fabrication and install alone, except my wife helped me put the frame onto the truck bed; you should not do that alone. The part of the installation book I found unclear and Peragon did not have a video on this was mounting the frame onto the truck bed, but I managed. I spoke to Peragon about that and they said they would fix that. If you are a novice installer like me, it takes more than 4 hours because you will want to read through the manual and watch the videos over & over as I did; that alone eats up an hour.
Let me tell you a little about the cover. My vehicles are parked under a carport extension of my barn. The barn swallows nest above my vehicles and take pride in decorating my vehicles. If my tonneau was canvas it would be tough washing bird droppings out of canvas. I considered getting a cover painted to match my new Prairie Green truck, but I realized that the standard black goes well with most anything. And besides, my truck sets high enough that only 18 wheeler drivers can look down on it on the highway. I find the functionality to be user friendly; it is easy to open and close. On the road doing 75-80 mph it made no noise. I cannot confirm this, but I think it helped my mileage. My big Hemi engine was averaging over 20 mpg going up and down mountain roads. For a short trip I did have to haul a big grill, for a relative, with the cover open and that worked fine. I wash my vehicles with a long handle vehicle washing brush. If you don’t have one I recommend getting one, you will need it to wash your tonneau cover for sure. Use a squeegee to dry it so it doesn’t leave water spots. The photo attached was taken recently, after the road trip and after the truck was washed.
So far, in summary, I can say I recommend this product. When the installation was complete I ended up with a ¼” space between the cover and tail gate which I fixed with weather stripping. I informed Peragon about this. They said I needed to do some adjustments, but the weather stripping works fine. I hope this little bit of info helps you with your decision. It is a big decision and a relatively expensive one, so do your research. Reviews are important.
