First and foremost Peragon has some of the best customer service I have ever dealt with. The product is great and fits all my needs for a bed cover. This product first caught my attention due to the price but after having this cover for a few weeks now it's definitely the quality that should catch your attention. Also, it's American made!!!!! Thanks again!

Hi this cover is the first one I have bought and I love it .It's water tight and keeps my tools safe and it looks good. I think for my first bed cover its a darn good buy I would recommend it to my friends . The only thing I think that peragon should sell with or as option is a divider that works with the cover and the way it opens cause if something gets under the cover where it drops down there is a lot of hassle to get the stuff out of the way to retract the cover so a barrier so that cargo doesn't go under the cover where it drops down at or peragon you guys should try a motorized cover that's way more durable and then it wouldn't matter what cargo was in the bed cause it wouldn't hang up on the cover but thanks for the great cover I love it

I was very impressed with Peragon before I even installed the bed cover. My truck is a 2003 Silverado and I ordered a paint matched cover. Shortly after placing my order, I received a phone call to confirm my bed length and also that I wanted a color matched cover because of the age of my vehicle and that the paint may not match due to fading. I assured them my truck has been very well kept and does not have any fading. I really appreciated their concern for my satisfaction before I even fully placed the order. Upon receipt of the cover at my home, they called me to verify delivery and let me know they are available anytime to help with install. The install itself was fairly straight forward and the online videos where extremely helpful via my tablet in the garage. I gave ease if install a 90 only because of the step that recommends taping the seal up on the side rails with masking tape vice painters tape. I used masking tape on one side and painters on the other. I didn't find it really necessary and the side with masking tape left residual glue on the rail and gasket. Overall, I am very satisfied and drove the truck into work today. You should have two more orders coming from some of my buddies!!

Just completed the install into new RAM 1500. The online videos are lifesavers with ton's more information than the install documents. Even if I thought I knew what to do I would refer to the video chapter first for each phase and generally picked up a tip. Overall, not too bad a process and by the next morning the gas cylinders were pushing the first two panels up flush and it looked great.

Still getting use to it but think I will really like it. Ton's better that the folding one I had on my old truck.

For the price it can't be beat.

I did a lot of researching prior to purchasing the Peragon cover. I wanted a cover that not only looked great on the truck but had functionality along with the ability to get the cover out of the way when the entire truck bed was needed. Soon as I came across the Peragon cover I knew it was the right option for me; and then after researching the company and reading the reviews from all the satisfied customers it made the decision a no brainer. The customer support was great all the way thru the process and I have been recommending Peragon truck covers to everyone I know that has a truck. FYI, I bought the flashlight and would highly recommend it as well. Keep up the great work Peragon!

I searched several place"s for the best deal and a quality cover that was also easy to use, getting older I don't want or need to be lifting something that will break my back.

I ordered my cover from you and aided by the You Tube video instructions which you kindly placed on your website and instruction booklet, my buddy and I had the cover installed in about 2 hrs. We took our time literally.

After making some minor adjustments it was great. I will say that the Customer Service Center is just as great as your product. I lost the keys to the locking system and called to see if you could just mail me a knew key, y'all sent me a whole new lock mechanism and to my surprise at NO CHARGE. You don't know how much that truly means to a customer.

Thank y'all for standing by your product, the way you made installation easy with video instructions and having people in your customer service center that seem as though they really enjoy their job and making sure that your customers are satisfied.

Thank You

This is the 2nd truck that I've installed a tonneau cover on. I need to be able to have full access to my truck bed on the fly so I need the flexibility of a retractable/foldable cover. I installed a foldable one on my previous truck and had some problems with it over the 8 years that I owned the truck. Therefore I didn't want to use that same brand again. I also wanted to install a rack system over the bed. This left me with the options of a full coverage tonneau or a retractable. My biggest concerns with retractable was the canister that most of them roll into. I live in Chicago and I figured with the snow and salt this type of tonneau would fail on me and at some point in time and I would be stuck with the tonneau in the open or closed position. While researching brands, I came across Peragon. I hadn't seen a design like theirs before. Again, one of my biggest concerns was how would this top stand up to my weather conditions. This is where Peragon began exceeding my expectations. I sent an email on a weeknight at about 8pm asking them how their product would stand up to my weather concerns. Within 15 mins I had an email response from Peragon, thanking me for my consideration and informing me that the company is located in Northern Wisconsin so they built their tonneau to stand up to our climate. With the price, appearance, functionality and customer service all positive, I ordered it! I ordered it on a Saturday.
That same day, I recieved an email from Peragon thanking me for my order and setting the expecatation as to when I would recieve the cover. The day it was delivered, guess who contacted me? Peragon. They had received confirmation from the shipping company and wanted to let me know that they were there if I had any trouble with the installation. Using the instructions and Youtube videos, the installation was pretty simple. I did it by myself and was done in about 3 hours. The cover looks great and I get a lot of compliments.

I've worked in the customer service industry and therefore understand and greatly appreciate it when a company goes over and above, and exceeds the expectations of their customers. Peragon keep doing what you're doing!

The only issue that I've had with this top, is on a hot sunny summer's day, the cover gets extremely hot which makes it a little difficult to push the panels to open it without using a rag or gloves. Choosing a paint color might alleviate this issue, but I wanted it in black. Regardless, I would definitely buy this cover again!

We love our Peragon cover! We knew we were making the right choice very quickly when our order was processed and shipped within 48hr and we had it sitting at our doorstep over a week before expected it. After 2 months of having the paragon cover we have thoroughly tested it out. We've been on 2- 18+ hr road trips and it has worked even better than we anticipated. We have also driven it closed through car washes and have noticed only minimal (tsp of water) that has gotten in. We drove through pretty heavy rain with our bed full and still our items stayed safe and dry. We have 2 small children so being able to leave the stroller and other items in the bed of the truck while were out and about has been AMAZING.
Positives:
Look, reliability, safety due to the top lock, ease of use, ease of installation, Long pull strap, durability, quality of materials, EXCELLENT customer service, EXTREMELY fast processing and shipping.
Negative: If you fill the bed closest to the cab your'e unable to push the cover down to open it. (not much you can do about that)

2010 Dodge Ram 2500 in Colorado

My opinion: do not buy this cover unless you are buying just for looks, not functionality.

I want to start by saying I have owned this cover for over 8 months and wanted to thoroughly put it through it's paces before writing a review. I feel compelled to write this review because I am extremely unhappy with the functionality of this cover, looks great though.

I have owned a roll n lock, fiberglass cover, and fiberglass toppers. I purchased this cover because I liked the idea of it being easily removable and thought the metal would be much more durable. If I had it to do over again I would rather have any of the other covers I have owned in the past over this one. If you are in the Colorado area and have a Dodge Ram 6'2" bed I will make you a smoking deal on a slightly used cover!!!

I will start from the beginning.

Ordering, shipping and install: The ordering process was super easy and the customer service was excellent. The item came timely and packaged well (I was in Florida when I ordered it). The install was fairly straight forward and I had no problems. It should be noted that you have to drill holes in the bed rail of your truck, most of the other covers on the market have an option to install without permanently modifying your truck! (First negative but I over looked it)

Quality and sturdiness: The way they bragged about the metal on the website I thought it would be much thicker and stronger. You cannot put much weight on the cover so don't expect to carry potting soil or anything on top of it while working. There is an upgraded lock that I purchased but not sure why I bothered ... if someone wants to get into it all they have to do is stand on top of it. Both my fiberglass cover and my roll n lock could carry considerably more weight on it. You won't be carrying bikes or kayaks on top of this one!

The aluminum panels have rubber gaskets between them and move considerably while driving down the road. These gaskets will wear and tear over time making the cover even less waterproof than it already is. Yeah, they say it is weather proof but mine has leaked water in the bed over and over again! These gaskets are going to make long term viability minimal.

Design Flaws (why not to buy):

First reason, the lack of ability to bear minimal weight on the top of the cover explained above.

Second reason, the panels don't have any insulation or even a smooth surface on the bottom face, each panel has a front and rear lip. This is significant because if you try to slide things in the bed, with the tailgate down, the items tend to snag or jam if the load is near the top of the cover.

Third reason, even when I remove the cover to haul big items in the bed the front part of the cover is subject to damage if something is all the way to the front of the bed (ie. can't slide a tool box all the way to the front without hitting the remaining cover part). Additionally, the side rails prevent you from placing items flush against the side rail to strap it down. Why is this significant, have you ever tried to secure a large heavy item in the middle of a bed so it won't slide around!?

Fourth reason, the only way to open this cover is to unlock it and forcefully push down on the panels until they separate and then go to the back of the truck to push it open the rest of the way. This is a problem for two reasons 1) the cover is black and gets very hot exposed to the sun, I have had to use gloves just to open the cover 2) if the tailgate is up you cannot close the cover without pinching the heck out of your fingers!!

fifth reason, the cover is either open or closed unlike the roll n lock. This isn't really that significant but I carry tools in my truck bed, it would be nice to have it partially open so I could cover my tools while taller items stuck out at the tailgate end. Also, when it is completely open you run the risk of damaging the cover as it clanks around painted metal surface on painted metal surface.
THE BIGGEST REASON TO SKIP THIS COVER:

The way the cover folds into the front of the bed makes your bed all but useless for hauling items under the bed cover. If the items slide to the front of the bed you cannot open the cover without climbing into the bed and pulling the item away from the front of the bed. I can't tell you how many times I have had to crawl in my bed, relocate totes or groceries just to open the cover. This is a ridiculous design that makes this cover almost useless. I have had to buy load poles an block off the front of my bed so things can't slide to the front. Now my bed is even shorter. Additionally, the brackets that the panels fold down into on the side are subject to damage by sliding items!!

A lot of people say the roll n lock takes up bed space so this cover is better but in order for this cover to function you lose more bed space and have to buy additional parts!!

Summary: I hate this bed cover and wished I had spent the extra money for a roll n lock, it is head and shoulders above this cover. The crawling into the bed thing is just completely unacceptable. Sorry guys, your customer service is great but the product has serious flaws in functionality, not to mention my concern for long term durability. Cover for sale in Colorado, anyone interested???

Dear staff at Peragon,

I had been researching for a tonneau cover that would perform the functions that we needed. I wanted a cover that I could secure the bed from thieves and yet remove so we had full use of the bed to load up dirt bikes on the weekends. Well, Peragon seem to fit the bill.

Installation was as straightforward as could be. The instruction with the pictures was very accurate. It took a few hours to install with no issues. Things that I liked was the individual packaging of the small parts for each section of the build. Made it easy and impossible to make a mistake. Another thing was that I didn't have to drill holes in my bed. I also liked that the cover fits nicely and flush on the bed rails. When I finished, the tonneau cover looked great.

After the installation was done, I tried opening and closing the cover a few times. I had this problem where the last panel wouldn't rise all the way up to lock the cover. I had to crawl in the bed and push up the last panel while I have my son turn the key to lock the bed. I called customer support and they told me that the cover needs to break in. Sure enough, the cover worked way better the next day and by the end of the week it worked great. The removal of the cover wasn't as easy as the videos. The Tacoma we have made it harder to remove the cover as the design of the bed and wheel wells is different. Overall, it is still worth purchasing the cover. I'm glad I did.

Thank you Peragon, Neal.

I searched high & low to find a cover that would meet my expectation and needs. After searching the webb and using google I found a family own business peragon. I then decided to give them a call after looking at there ratings & reviews. A very nice gentleman by the name Jacob answer my call. He express to me that everyone were given an early day off that friday and that he was the only one left that could assist me. Jacob went over & above the call of duty to assist me after I explain to him I had never install a bed cover before he convince me that there peregan covers were a ease to install. After conversing with Jacob about my desire and need to have the peragon cover sent to me as soon as possible being I was preparing to take a vacation and need this cover to lock away all of my goods. Jacob reassured me that I would receive it in time to install and take my vacation with the cover install and my goods locked away. Words can only began to describe how great peragon customer service really is and what of ease it were to install there cover. With such knowledge people and wonderful staff I now see why there ratings & reviews are so positive and 5stars. After months of research and debate, I chose a Peragon truck cover. My 1997 Chevy truck has a fiberglass solid cover and I knew thats not what I wanted for my new Chevy. This is my second Peragon Bed Cover and I like the way they look and ease of use. The installation on my new Chevy Colorado was straight forward. The only issue I had was that the height of the cover does not allow the seal at the front of the bed to completely seal up the bed. I had to add some weatherstripping to fill the gap. Otherwise it performs just like on my previous truck.

I researched dozens of bed covers, looked at them on other trucks and talked to friends who had them on their vehicle. The choice was simple for me; not only for looks, durability and use, but for the value that Peragon offers to comparable covers. My toughest decision was the color. Was it worth spending the extra money for the white cover just to match my truck? Judge for yourself, but to me, worth every penny!
I bought this used 2006 King Ranch about a year ago not only for the features it offered, but as you can see, it's outstanding condition. The Peragon bed cover just accentuates the looks of my truck while providing the security I needed for the contents in the bed. My wife has horses and needs to keep her tack dry and safe (and out of the back seat!) - my Peragon cover delivers both.
From the initial order through delivery, I received calls from customer service to verify the order as well as to ensure it arrived safely and if I had any installation questions. Installation was easy to follow and the online videos were also helpful when I wanted to see it done live.
If you are in the market, choose a Peragon bed cover. Not only American made, but military friendly as well! Thank you for a great experience!!

I just purchased my new 2015 F-150 Lariat and immediately started looking at ways to protect it while still having functionality. My dad's truck had a hard 1 piece cover which was always in the way, and the velco/soft covers just sounded like a bad idea. In the end I was debating between a tri-fold and the Paragaon. Why did I choose Paragon? Pretty much the same functional reasons as everyone else here but in the end it came down to reading how well Paragon treats their customers and reading their interactions on the forums - that meant a lot to me. The items were delivered and had been nicely packed and protected. Installation was very easy to follow, especially with the excellent videos that compliment the instructions. It took my wife and I about 4 hours, only because we were fighting mosquito's and I was being very critical of every detail making sure to measure twice and all that. I purchased the cover with the dual deadbolt system and would recommend that to everyone - it adds a little more strength (IMO) to the whole cover. The cover has been installed for a few weeks, through 100+ degree weather and a torrential downpour. While the cover isn't 100% water tight, its very effective at keeping out just about all of it. The heat though, will bake whatever is left in the back of the truck and because of how relatively air-tight the cover is, the next time you open the cover or tailgate, be prepared for a nice smell :) Finally a few other tips. I have the Ford bed divider, it will not work in the clips closest to the the cap due to the down-rails for the Cover - they are in the way; however the divider fits fine toward the tailgate and does not obstruct the cover. The truck bed was sprayed with a Linex liner prior to installing the cover. There is very little length needed to adjust the down rails, I would replace the long screws they give you with some shorter ones. Are we happy with this truck bed cover choice? Absolutely!

We needed something that was secure and researched several options before going with Peragon, and I am so glad we did. The product arrived quickly and was installed in no time. The cover really tops off this vehicle. We picked Peragon due to it being made in the USA, the superior quality that we viewed in the videos and the affordable price. The locking feature is great and we could not be happier with the look.. Dilworth Police Department

I'll start off by saying that the cover is great and fulfills it's function beautifully. However, and this is obviously only my opinion, installation is not as easy as advertised. Just for the record I watched all 14 You Tube videos. Aligning the rails isn't that easy and I couldn't mount the brackets on my truck bed at the point the manual said to do so. I had to choose a point a full 2 inches off the mark. This caused the gas springs to hit the bracket when trying to close the cover. I had to use a Dremel tool to trim the bracket. My question is 'Why is there no telephone support on a weekend'? I'm just wondering if it's too much to ask for maybe a four hour window on a Saturday where telephone support could be offered. I would think that most people select a weekend for install as we work during the week.
