BEWARE OF THE "100 DAY TRIAL PERIOD". Peragon charges an $89 dollar packaging fee and a $59 dollar return fee.

I decided to return my cover and here is why:
1. Strength and Durability: The construction of the bed cover was okay. It was not what you would expect from a cover this expensive. I purchased the top-tier cover as well. The durability of this cover for long-term use is questionable. I am basing this off of owning other similar tonneau covers through the years. THIS COVER IS NOT WATERPROOF. Ultimately this was the breaking point for my decision to return the cover. A tonneau cover at this price point must protect your bed from the elements.
2. Ease of Use: Operating the cover is not nearly as easy and seamless as they make it out to be in the marketing videos. It is not that easy to remove the panels. The latch mechanism is quirky but works.
3. Customer Support: The fact that a 100-day trial period is advertised but the small print requires a fee to return is unacceptable. Shame on me for throwing away the original packaging before waiting to see how I enjoyed the cover but, this should be better advertised.
4. Ease of Installation: I will say that the packaging and instructions were well done and the cover was easy to install. There are many assembly steps that Peragon could perform that would save the customer time on installation. However, it was easy enough to accomplish.

I will not be recommending this cover to others.

I researched several covers both DIY and professional installation, but I was most impressed by Peragon. I like the removable nature and the simplicity of operation. It looks fantastic too. Installation was simple because of the instructions and especially the videos. The way the hardware was packaged was genius. Thank you.

Took a little bit of work to get it in place and adjusted BUT I love it! I have a gooseneck connection in my bed and the cover makes it incredibly easy to stow the cover for the horse trailer or put it back in place for a Costco grocery run. Looks great, easy to use. Don’t have to fight to remove it and put it back on as needs change. It has been great!!

Ps only one of the push rods comes with a spring. We thought we lost one and looked for it for quite a while. But upon writing support we found out only one side has a spring. Support not needed except for that question. But they were quick to respond.

Don't waste your money. There are others covers that are half the price that work better. This doesn't keep the water out. It leaks a good bit. Install is also a pain. It does look nice, retracts easily and locks but that is small consolation for water that gets in. I would not recommend and will never purchase again.

With the step by step and clearly label instructions it was very easy to install. It’s amazing to have a bed cover that is so durable and protective. We can finally throw whatever in the bed knowing it will stay secure and dry no matter the weather. We LOVE it! Shipping was quick and product was packaged nicely.

Been on the fence about a bed cover for years. Got a new truck and decided to get a bed cover. I had done the research and knew Paragon was the way to go. Easy to install after reading through the instructions and watching the video before starting. The videos are a nice touch. If you're in the market, buy one.

Received as described. Delivery came in 2 boxes. Installed on my own following g both paper instruction and video (video was more helpful for me). Took me about 3 hours from unpackaging, skimming through paper instructions, watching install vids and completing install. Most of the 3 hours was from me fine tuning adjustments and making sure measurements were the same on both sides of the bed.
I did reach out to customer service as there was a slight tear in waterproofing at the end of the cover. They shipped out a replacement immediately free of charge.
I did a lot of research for tonneau covers as I wasn’t sure what I wanted initially (roll up, electronics, tri fold, permanent canisters, cost, etc). I ended up choosing Peragon’s LimitedHDx version. I liked the keyless locking feature, I didn’t want a permanent canister and Peragon allowed the flexibility to easily remove the top. Sure electronic would’ve been nice, but I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg nor give up quality. After installing the cover, I actually don’t mind the manual opening and closing.
Overall, I am pleased with my tonneau cover and with the speedy customer service response regarding the torn wether seal. After installation, we had a bit of rain in my area. I checked the truck bed to see how much water got in and noticed that the left side was dry but the right side was a bit wet. I adjusted the right side and after a recent car wash I only saw a bit of water in the bed.

Notes: I did buy a harbor freight truck bed bar ($24) to place at the head of the bed where the cover folds. The bar sits at the bottom level of the cover when folded so that big items do not slide and prohibit the cover from folding while still being able to utilize the small space under the folded cover.

I would definitely recommend Peragon covers to friends and family

The Peragon HDX cover goes perfectly with my 2023 Ford F-150 Platinum PowerBoost. The texture is light and compliments the black appearance package well on the truck. The low profile appeals to me as does the fact that when collapsed it doesn’t impede my vision or the back of the truck.

Installation was straight forward and anyone with minimal mechanical aptitude can install this cover. The included instructions are fantastic, filled with step-by-step details that include full color pictures.

I appreciate the solid locking mechanism on each side versus the keyed locks required for other models or other brands of covers.

When I lived in Upstate NY, we got a lot of snow and I did not want to shovel out my truck bed all the time, so I did some research and decided on a Peragon cover for my 2008 Silverado short bed. Best decision I could have ever made. Performed like a champ every season.I recently sold that truck and the new owner loves the 14 year old cover.
I just bought a 2014 Sierra long bed and didn't hesitate to buy a Peragon cover for it too. I am in the Pacific NW now and yes we get snow and much more rain. So far the cover is nearly 100% weather proof and keeps the bed of the truck dry. Super great when hauling extra supplies back there.
If you are on the fence trying to decide, wait no longer. Truly a great cover and Peragon has super customer service too. So very happy!

My first experience with bed covers was my last truck that was a 2015 GMC. After driving a truck several years with one I wouldn't have a truck without one. The last one folded up 3 times and you had to get in the truck to do that, not bad but not good either. The Peragon cover is great I love everything about it. I feel confidant about whatever is in the back of the truck bed is going to be safe, some going to have to do a lot of work to get anything out. Thanks for making a top notch bed cover.

I ordered the cover and it was on my door step in 3 days (after it was made). Came in two packages that were packed very well. I found the install videos that made assembly/install a breeze, I followed them to a tee and everything fit as it should. I am extremely impressed in the quality and engineering that was put into the design of this cover. After a few days the locking mechanism was giving me troubles, I got ahold of support and they sent me a new mechanism that came 2 days later. You get what you pay for and I wouldn’t think twice about buying another.

Overall I would make this purchase again. I love the concept and versatility of this bed cover. The ability to take it off whenever needed is great, the sleek design makes my truck look so much better. I would not consider this a set back but the installation was a little more difficult than anticipated. At the end of the end it was secured and triple checked to ensure it was installed correctly; however, was still not anticipating putting all that together. Again, that is not a set back just a statement to be made for anyone reading this review before purchase. When closed the bed cover is secure and locks which I love. On the other hand, there is a lot more leaking of water than anticipated as well along the sides. I’m addition I was not anticipating the inability to use the full bed space when opening and closing bed cover. That little bit of space in the back of the bed that needs to be left open to ensure proper opening and closing can be a bit of a pain (no big deal just bought a cargo bar to prevent things from going back that far), especially when you want to use all of your bed space. Every bed cover has its upsides and downsides. I like this cover enough to say it’s worth it and I would purchase again just keep on mine the downfalls.

customer support was as expected so really can't fault them here.

Ease of use is another story. It was difficult to make the cover retract. Only one side would press down which made a wheel come off track. Didn't realize it till it was shut again and that one wheel made it difficult to retract again to fix it.

Strength and durability: I wouldn't trust this to prevent anyone from easily breaking in to the bed. The metal is flimsy at best and very easy to bend if not careful.

Definitely not WATER PROOF. Wished that had been flashing at the top of the description when I bought it. Your stuff will get wet in the rain and I don't mean severe down pour.

The rail system will need to be taken off in addition to the cover if hauling anything that must lay against the railing of the bed. The rails will get bent if you leave them on.

Installation is a pain. first you are putting together the rail system upside down. Be careful when you flip it over to put on the truck. There is nothing bracing the back of the rails which could led to the front cross bar to bend. Thank goodness for YouTube as the picture pages given for instruction are vague. Plus, the YouTube video contradicts the instructions in some areas.

Overall for the price I am disappointed. I bought this to replace my old Bakflip rollup cover as the vinyl was peeling up and thought this would be a great replacement. I was wrong. I would not buy it again.
