This is not a paid review. However, I did win a Peragon contest and was given a Limited HDX. Prior to winning the Limited HDX, I had purchased a Platinum model. Having owned both models in a brief time, I can provide a good comparison between the two.
Foremost, Peragon’s customer service is top notch. I was within my 100-day return window with the Platinum when I won the Limited, I was able to return the Platinum with zero hassles. The online instructions walked me through repackaging the parts without a single issue. The Limited was damaged by Fed-ex, causing a dent in the panels. I reached out to Peragon and informed them that it appeared to function correctly, but I would like to wait a day or two before making a final decision. Heidi with customer support, stated that the damage would affect sealing and shipped a new panel within a day. Customer service always promptly replied and immediately resolved any issues.
Most companies oversell the capabilities of their products. Peragon is one of the rare companies which undersells its products. At least that is how I felt after receiving the Limited and comparing it to the Platinum. Both products are great and went together relatively easily. It took me about two hours without assistance. It would have been a little faster with another person. The biggest issue I had with both models was getting the 1-degree upward angle on the quick clamps. Every other part of installation was resolved either through reading the instruction manual or watching the installation videos. Both covers leaked a bit the first couple of days. Once the seals were compressed, leaking was no longer an issue in either model. Likewise, the function was stiff the first day or two but then worked itself out. I am incredibly happy with the utility and performance of each cover.
Now is the Limited worth $400 more than the Platinum? That would be a resounding yes. Peragon advertises the Xtreme Ruggerdized Powdercoat finish and the keyless dual action lock. When reading their advertisements, the hardware seems to be the same for both models, it is not. While both may be marine grade stainless steel, the Limited rail supports are thicker and wider than the Platinum. Further, the rail seals on the Limited appeared stiffer and possibly thicker. I also noticed the ramp supports were heartier on the Limited. One of the best features Peragon failed to mention is the adjustment rods for the quick clamps. Remember that 1-degree angle I mentioned earlier? Well, the rods make adjusting the clamps a breeze. You can’t go wrong with either model, but if you have the extra money, I recommend the Limited.

It’s well made but the gas shocks don’t allow for ease of use as you have to push done the back panel to open the cover.

2024 Ram 2500
I had a 2007 Chevy Avalanche before my 2024 Ram 2500. It had the manufacturer tonneau cover and I absolutely loved it. That set the bar really high for my expectations of a cover. I had the hardest time finding anything that could not only be folded/retracted but completely removed. It seems extremely durable and looks amazing. I love the placement of the logo on the side.

Great Tonneau cover, strong when closed, easy to open and close. Definitely follow the video for installation, it makes it so much easier and clearer to understand. The only thing we missed was making sure the tonneau cover touches the tailgate when they're both closed so there's no gap and lined up straight. We definitely recommend this cover.

The process of installing my cover took about two hours and a extra set of hands are beneficial. The videos made the process way easier. The only 3 things I would add or change. 1. Make sure seals are not folded under before you tighten down the rails. 2. The adjustment bolts are way to long. 3. So.ething in need on the Tailgate panel to secure the pull strap. Overall the cover looks great and works wonderfully .

I spent many hours researching covers before I bought my Peragon cover and super happy I got this one.
It took me a few hours to install by myself and a little help from my wife when it came time to level it all. I’m not super handy so it took a little extra time but I wa able to to do it! The videos were awesome and super thorough.
I encountered a few questions and customer service was hands down the best and most friendly service. I needed a new lock due to key not working and they replaced it quick. During install phase I emailed and got a prompt response too. Just great team.
I’ve had this for almost a year and it’s still sturdy, easy to use, and looks good. It’s so easy to open and close my kids can even do it.
It is a quick to take completely off and reinstall as well.

2023 Honda Ridgeline
I’ve had this on now for a couple of months been very happy with how it works. It really does look good on the truck. I like the low profile very happy. I did the upgrade on the finish. Well worth the money. It definitely goes to get what you pay for. I’ve looked at a couple of cheap ones on other trucks, very happy I bought this and upgraded!! I believe in this market, paying a little more is much better

Easy installation when following segmented videos. Looks great. For those looking for a waterproof cover, this is not the one. I knew that when I purchased the cover so not a killer for me. The look out weighs the small leaks. The cover provides the security I was looking for.

I really like the bed cover. Easy to install installation videos really help. The only thing is I messed up during the insulation and didn’t get my weatherstripping at the front of the bed Cover cut correctly, but that was on me.

Before deciding on a Peragon, I spent time watching and reading Youtube reviews, blog posts, etc of the other major bed cover brands. My final decision was between the Peragon and the Diamondback and I am very happy I went w the Peragon. I use my bed for beach trips (packing surfboards mainly), work (picking up and dropping off shipments of all sizes), and hauling around sports equipment for my kids. The Peragon allows me to use my bed completely without needing to be removed (like you typically need to with most of the other bed covers) or spending a bunch of time constantly fiddling with it. I can access the bed from the side of the truck or the rear of the truck without needing to constantly open up a latch or make some adjustment. I have had the cover for about 2 months and I am very happy with it. Installation was a 2 level difficulty on a 1-10 scale (10 being most difficult).
