This cover is really well made and sturdy. I wished for a cover that would be easy for my wife to operate and it works for her. I wished for a cover that would protect contents in my truck bed and it works for that. Having used retractable and rollup covers I prefer this cover's operation.

Overall, I'm fully satisfied and can recommend for the reasons I note above.

First of all I’m very happy with the cover so far being its only a couple of weeks. The only issue if any is are installation based at this time. I’ll update my review of performance in a few weeks. My issue is not the videos; they are very helpful, issue is that that of having to use my smart to view the videos. The navigation could have been better starting, stopping, rewinding etc. wish I could have printed instructions with picture on my desktop.

Overall the installation went well, just had a big rain storm and no leaks, some minor adjustments on the lock and all is well. Will provide update over time.

The cover looks nice but has a few things I would change. The edges of the cover frame do not sit tight to the bed rail, which makes the weight of the cover sit on the little tabs not getting the full support of the bed rail. I have 3/8 on an inch gap between the bed rail and the frame in the back and more in the front near the cab. I live in Minnesota and when it snows it may get a little heavy for those little tabs. Also the side rails for the cover are a bit wide. I do like the way it looks and how it operates though.

Awesome product! I got my cover installed a little over a week ago and couldn’t be happier. Install instructions (and videos) clearly cover each step make for a quick and painless install! The only problem I have (which was mentioned in the install guide) is the back two panels don’t come alway up into place when pulling closed, make it very difficult to lock without climbing under the cover and pushing it up. The manual says this problem should resolve itself after a week or two of being installed and allowing the seals to break in. Over great product which I have already begun to recommend to others

Love the cover. At first the shocks would not fully close the front panel. Also, one panel sat up a tad higher than the others, resulting in a non-level cover which caused some water to leak in the raised panel seal. After only about a day or two of use, the cover broke in and both these issues resolved on their own. So if there are any concerns after initial installation, allow a day or two for the cover to “break in”. Works 100% now and love it. Great buy.

This is by far the nicest, cleanest and best built cover you can buy. Installation is time consuming but very well worth it. With the written and video installation instructions, it was not a difficult job by any means. Patience is key as well as taking your time to make sure you follow and complete each step before moving to the next.

Pictures do not do this cover justice. I have gotten so many compliments and questions about the cover. First off the paint color looks as if it was painted to match my F-150 and its just the standard black. Not a single blemish on the paint job.The Peragon cover adds a great value for keeping the bed secure and looking awesome at the same time. Install was easy enough, just watch the videos before hand and follow the instructions carefully. I used and IPad and the written instructions with a friend for the install, i strongly recommend having help but it's not impossible alone. I used a torque wrench for the quick clamps as recommended and i must say it is super smooth when operating, don't be alarmed if it doesn't shut all the way at first, as the instructions recommend to leave it locked 24-48 HRS. I left mine shut for 3 days and since opening it after that it has worked flawlessly, even though it has been around 30 degrees constantly since then. The friend that helped me is the owner of a competing cover and he was even blown away at the design and quality. I know he's now doubting his decision now. If you have a short bed especially i can't see a better fit for your truck. I was worried that the "ramps" would render the boxlink cleats useless but they are far enough out that you can still use them. for the cost you can not beat this cover, Buy the platinum package so you get all the upgrades and buy with confidence. Shipping took a couple of weeks but I also purchased around the holidays so i'm not complaining. I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely buy again if the need arises. Thank you Peragon for an excellent product!

Very pleased with my recent purchase of the Peragon Tonneau Cover. Mine is for the 2019 Chevy Colorado short bed. I found all the packaging and unpacking process very easy and very simple to get started. I loved the instructional videos too, I brought my laptop out to the garage and played them step by step as I went through the install and very rarely had to refer to the instructional booklet that came in the box. Only a few omissions that I would have found helpful in the videos for my model, namely the installation of the gas-spring pistons and any mention about possible issues with the pistons not fully extending to be able to lock in the locking rod. After a quick call to Peragon, they not only told me of the possible solution, but shipped me stronger pistons the same day for free - very professional call for sure. One recommendation I would make regarding the spacing washers is that the spacers could be larger (various sizes of solid metal with only the need to use a few washers). I ended up having to go to Lowes to buy a box of washers to add to the stack in order to get a good spacing distance on the L-Bracket and it was a bit cumbersome to have to hold 10 plus washers in place while inserting the guide bolt down through the stack of washers. I think a single one-inch (or 1/2 inch) hollow block would work better for larger spacing and only need to add a few of the washers for fine-tuning. My install took about 4 hours (a more professionally inclined person could probably do it quicker). I had the drill-in version, so was extra nervous about drilling into my truck sides to secure the guide rails, but it worked out fine. One think that could be talked about in the videos is how a spray-in bed liner impacts installation (drilling is a little tougher and the included tailgate seal doesn't seem to work along the bed of the truck without a smooth surface to adhere to. No issues with the vertical installation of the tailgate seal though as the spray-in liner doesn't reach around that far. I have just installed it, so I can't really comment on durabilty that well, but seems like a very solid material and the paint is well done. Lastly, the rubber plugs that install into the flat portions of the panels seem to rub on the rails and pop out often, but removing them doesn't seem to have much of an impact other than a little rub when the panels are collapsed. I think some sticky rubber cushions could be added for a minimal cost to the same effect as they are covered by the rail system and not exposed much to the elements of weather. Overall, great product so far, would highly recommend this product.

Great Tonneau!! I’ve been in the truck accessories industry for a while and this one stands out above all the competition if you want a hard tonneau like me!

It’s key to read the instructions and watch the videos online. Setting the mounting brackets to 1 degree will save you any hassle you would have otherwise for operation.

I’m recommending this to all my friends!
