I was really amazed how easy it was to install with the help of the installation video and it does also help to have somebody help you lift the rails on the truck from the ground after you assemble it on the ground first . First thing I did was went through the carwash to see how watertight it was and I did get a little water by the tailgate when I opened it but I also had not installed the tailgate seal yet and I'm satisfied with with the product and would recommend it to anyone

I have researched every tonneau cover available for the new body style GMC with the pro lift tailgate. There were not many that fit well enough to allow the power tailgate to function properly. After receiving the cover and following their easy installation videos it was on the truck in about 2 hours and I have to say it looks fantastic and functions flawlessly with the tailgate. A couple panels were dented in shipping but peragon sent me two replacement panels and after 30 min of drilling out the rivers and installing the new panels, it looks great. I cannot stress enough how well this cover fits and how great the customer service is at peragon. Now that I know the panels are replaceable I will not be too worried if I damage one. They were really easy to replace. Go for it you won’t be disappointed.

The Peragon cover came with great very detailed instructions specific to my make and model of truck. The instructional videos were great to help add to the booklet. I was able to put my cover on with a friend of mine in about 2 hours with limited trouble except for minor adjustments for the final fit and overall operation of the cover. I can't thank Peragon enough for their support to Veterans by given the Platinum upgrade to all Veterans, that is just amazing and shows how they support how country and its Veterans Thank You!

First of all I just wanted to say that this is the first ever review of a product I’ve done. I’ spent countless hours on the iPad researching bed covers before I finally decided to pull the trigger on a Peragon. From the moment I ordered the cover I was completely amazed and the customer service. Once I completed my purchase I noticed my ship date was over three weeks away (during holidays). I needed it earlier than that and after a short talk with customer service the cover was on the way the following week more than two weeks early! After it arrived in two separate boxes on two different days (fedex is crazy sometimes) Peragon once again contacted me to make sure everything looked good.



INSTALL- WATCH THE VIDEOS! Although Peragon sent me truck specific instructions I just brought my iPad outside and watched a video, did what they said, and moved on to the next video. These videos make it super simple and to my surprise I to make absolutely no adjustments afterwards. The last step of opening and shutting the covering before tightening the back and middle clamps work to perfection. It basically self aligned. Mine was just a tad tight at first but the next day was working smooth as butter. Almost opens and shuts itself now. Getting underneath and pushing it up from inside my bed while my wife locked it worked to perfection to take out the “break in sag” is the first panel.



APPEARANCE this thing looks amazing. The fit and finish is flawless. The seals fit and look amazing. When I first installed it I said to myself “How would this thing leak a drop?” More on that later.



WEATHER TIGHTNESS/SECURITY This thing isn’t letting stuff get stolen in your bed without some serious time and effort by thieves. If you gave me a hammer and a crowbar I promise I couldn’t get into this thing within thirty minutes. Very secure! As far as rainproof, to my surprise this thing does leak. When I look at it I ask myself where in the word does the water get in at? But somehow it does. Plain and simple, if your trucks sits on in your driveway during a big rain there with be a line of water down both sides. Basically not a drop in the front or tailgate area. Not a single drop in the middle of your bed. Just a few along each side that will eventually make the sides of your your bed look damp. The people that say this thing doesn’t leak are lying. The people that say this thing leaks so much it’s a problem are lying. It let’s in drips along the sides along the rails . That’s it. Nothing major.... Have something that would be damaged by any drop of water? Put it in the middle or in a bag or box and you are good. This thing leaks no more than any other folding type tonneau cover.



TIPS/FINAL NOTES white lithium grease sprayed into the key locking mechanism makes it work even smoother! A newborn child could turn the key lock now. Watching the installation videos and making sure you are doing it right takes up majority of the hour and a half it will take you to install this thing. Very minimum amount of actual work.



I have not regretted purchasing this cover one minute and love how quickly it almost folds itself out of the way when I go to Lowe’s. I also love how it’s diferent from all the other covers I see in the parking lots. EVERYONE sees this thing on my truck and asks about it. “ man I’ve never seen one like that.. etc”. I love this thing and I quickly put the included Peragon decal on my back glass to show my support. Thanks paragon for a Awesome product!!!

The bed cover arrived a few days prior to the stated delivery from when I placed my order. Had all the components and installed within a few hours. Everything you need to know is available via the videos or within the brochures. As listed the bed cover initially didn't close 100% (last panel), but as suggested, keeping it locked for 24-48 hours did the trick... I recommend this cover to everyone... One thing I did add was an additional piece of weather stripping at the front of the bed, as I have a sprayed in liner and their was slightly more gap than the factory seal could account for. Seriously a minor detail though...

I submitted a picture with this review; not of closed, buffed, and shiny. There are 1000s of pictures here of how GREAT it looks closed.



My Usage: I bought and fell love this cover because I get to use my bed, trips to the recycling center, Lowes - Home depot, bike shops, gravel pits, the local nursery, etc. it is a pickup truck. I haul stuff.



Installation: My grandson and I installed it (meaning I watched him do most of the work - I mean, why else have kids?), he read the manual and I watched the videos. In a about an hour and a half it was installed.



Security: I feel secure that I can leave some tool in the bed, lock the cover and they stay out of sight, secure and dry.



The Cover: Is quiet (no rattles, no wine noises) , easy to open, close and lock. And so far (6 months) no leaks.



Customer Support: I asked 2 questions before the purchase, and down the road I asked 2 other questions - I received fast, polite answers to my questions. I got one reply at 12:15 am (I asked about using small clamps on the rails to keep the cover full open - instead of tie downs - Yes, I can)



The Purchase and shipping: I took advantage of the discount available at the time (pop-up add email) and Affirm provided me with 0% financing for 6 months (I paid in 3). The cover arrived undamaged in 2 boxes and contained all the parts.



This cover was the perfect decision for me!

Installed on a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic. The install took a little over an hour and everything was as explained in the video. Everything looks great and I am very happy with the product. This is half the price of my old Retrax cover and overall I feel that it is a better quality.

Installation was easy and took about 1.5 hours from start to finish. Everything about the cover is of the highest quality. I was worried about rattles with an aluminum cover, but this one does not rattle, even when you bang on it with your hand. The sliding/folding action is smooth and easy for my wife to use. I love the fact it is 100% Made in America!!!

I am loving the new cover. I am the wife of the truck owner. I am very impressed with the truck cover and the high quality. I was not sure about it when he ordered it because I need to see something before I buy it. I am so glad he ordered the cover. The bed is great quality and easy to install. Can't complain about the price, quality of the product or support, all definitely excellent. Installation was relatively straightforward, about 4 hours for a first-time installer (me.)

But, buyers beware that the design does limit your ability to fully load the bed, or even have somewhat taller items (but those still fit under the closed cover like luggage, boxes, etc) stored up front near the cab. The forward 18" of the bed cannot be used to store anything over a few inches high if you want to be able open the cover, otherwise your crawling under it to pull the items forward so you can then open the cover.

The first trip we took with the cover installed with luggage and other items stored in the bed I quickly discovered that you cannot open the bed cover if anything over a few inches high is stored (or slides) up against the cab-end of the bed since that is where the panels go as the cover opens. Obvious when you think about it but this is not something I realized looking at the pics, videos, reviews, etc on the Peragon site. So, just be aware of this limitation if you decide to purchase this cover over some other styles that are out there.

Oh my, what can I say. You guys have out done yourselves. This Peragon cover has to be one work of magic. Myself and my son put this together in about 3hrs after looking at the video and following it along. It went so smooth. Now, me being a millwright and my son a hands on car guy and fussy to no end, and an excellent tig welder, he was and so was I, very impressed. Peragon made this installation so simple for almost anyone to do. Instructions, what to look for, how to do it, who to call if you have a problem. There is nothing they haven’t covered. It’s called being together as one with the customer.
I have never used a truck cover before. But I went looking after buying my newly designed Chevy Silverado 2500HD. Most covers are poorly designed, and cheap for what you get.
Peragon has gone above and beyond. Some people will have a few problems, but we are not perfect. That’s what Peragon’s team is there for.
Thanks for a wonderfully designed cover and looking forward to using it for the purpose it is intended for.

I was impressed as to how well built and sturdy this cover is made. I had it specially painted to match my truck and it is beautiful. It was easy to install. However, I need to make a minor adjustment because it is a little tight in sliding. But that was my fault. I wanted a cover that was easy to operate and would protect the contents in my truck bed and it works for that. Having used a retractable cover before, I prefer this cover's operation. Overall, I'm fully satisfied and would recommend it to anyone, has I have already done so.
