Just received my bed cover this week, installation only took about an hour everything was packaged well, with great instructions the only thing I noticed was a small bend in the frame on the cab side panel, but it was easily bent back. Realized once I put it on that I wanted the dual lock called customer service and they are sending me one out. Very excited to see how this bed cover works I use to only use retrax but I really like the functionality of this one. Great Company, Great customer service!!!!!

I received my cover on time and the install was mostly easy, at least until I had to make adjustments to level it out to have it slide easy. But overall I am very happy with the look; low profile and color.

Installation was a breeze and cover looks great on the truck. Nice to be able to lock the cover with a locking tail gate. Have not noticed a problem with leaking.

I would like to thank and commend the folks at Peragon Enterprises for their attention to customer service.
After installation of my bed cover I noticed a small ding/dent in the panel nearest the tailgate.
After only one email they sent me at absolutely no cost a new panel with installation instructions.
I was able to remove the damaged panel and install the new panel within a very short period of time and with minimal effort.
It is very refreshing to do business with a company that excels with customer service and an excellent product!
KUDOs to Peragon and their staff.
This is the 3rd Peragon bed cover I have installed.

I like the way it looks on my truck and that I can lock work stuff up in the back. I needed very little help getting it installed the only help I needed was to lift the frame onto the truck after I got it assembled. Two days after installing the cover I ran my truck through a car wash and got very little water in the bed. I think I need to do some slight adjustments but that is no big deal.

I probably looked at every cover on the web that I thought would look nice on my 2013 Chevy Silverado truck and was leaning toward a bakflip because I wanted a hard cover that would fold up in case I needed to do some hauling.

But I didn't want to settle for plain black I wanted to match my truck paint color if possible, but it was looking like that wasn't going to be possible because everything that I looked at was black.

Eventually I found the Peragon web site and started looking at all the pictures and reading all the reviews and was impressed.

Then I viewed all of the installation videos and was convinced that I could install the cover myself and save by not having to pay someone to install it for me.

The ordering process was simple and easy and they actually inform you when to expect your order to arrive which mine arrived well before they predicted and I was happy about that.

I read the booklet by section and reviewed the videos for clarity when needed and the install went without any problems.

It took me from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm to install it and I only used help to put the rails on top of the bed and to lock it once installed.

Before I finished the install a few friends had stop by and they were really impressed that I was doing the install without using professional help and they really liked the ease of opening and closing and that the cover could be removed if needed.

My wife was surprised when I showed her how to open the top so that she could haul a load of stuff to Goodwill that she removed from our garage.

I'm very pleased how sharp my truck look after deciding to go with the Peragon cover instead of the black bakflip hard cover that I was close to buying and to top it off I received two emails from Peragon to see if everything went alright with the install or if I needed any assistance. That was surprising, most companies contact you and try to sell you something extra, no Peragon.

So I know that I made the right decision by going with the Peragon cover instead of the bakflip hardtop which would have cost a lot more and only came in black.

I will say that the installation was a bit of a problem, nothing with the cover, bed liner gave me a problem because it was warpped in the front. Had a problem with it closing...hard to close and way to tight. Called costumer service and talked to Jacob, problem fixed in two minutes. Also, during shipping there was a small ding in the last panel, no problem, Jacob asked me to sent a picture of the dent and the shipping box and within a minute or two I recieved a shipping notice for a new panel. I don't think there is another company with better costumer service. I never write reviews but had to in this case.

Third truck I have put one on. First cover was on two GMC's. would have put it on third, but went back to a Ford, so needed a different cover. Six years exposed to upstate NY.weather and the cover looked and performed just like new. Just finished putting new cover on my new Ford. Looking forward to many years of great service. I am very pleased with both the Quality of the cover, and the service and friendliness of the people from Peragon. Best of all is the fact it is American made, and you can't beat the price.

Before purchasing the Peragon bed cover, I looked at many of the different truck bed covers and considered three criteria 1) what I wanted/needed, 2) strengths and weaknesses 3) cost. Those who’ve been unhappy with their bed cover, no matter what type or manufacturer they chose, seem to have failed on the first point – what they wanted/needed. I don’t think it’s fair to complain about a cover not meeting one’s specific wants/needs when the manufacturer never made such a claim. Giving a product a poor review as a result only speaks to the purchaser’s inadequate research since there’s plenty of online resources and reviews to make an educated decision. In purchasing a bed cover the customer has already decided the benefits outweigh any weaknesses or drawbacks. Different covers simply try to address those weaknesses and drawbacks in different ways. Also, most bed covers require installation by the owner which necessitates precisely following instructions and correctly using the prescribed tools and parts in order to achieve the optimal outcome. It appears those dissatisfied with their bed cover, regardless of the type or manufacturer, didn’t follow the instructions and/or used incorrect tools.

Those things said – here’s my review of the Peragon cover for a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado with the 6’ bed with liner and rail caps.

1. Ordering/delivery/customer service. The online ordering was straightforward and easy to follow. Options are available (stainless steel hardware, dual deadbolt, tailgate seal and truck bed light) which add to the $700 price tag at $30 to $70 a pop and up to $400 to have the cover painted to match your vehicle. These all seemed overpriced but I did find a referral code that netted the tailgate seal for no cost. I like the light idea of the bed light but $70 for a glorified flashlight? The cover arrived within the specified time with no damage to the packaging or the contents. With the installation I had one question about drilling the holes. My call was answered quickly and my question thoroughly addressed.

2. Installation: Prior to purchasing I watched the online installation videos and read the installation manual several times. It was also helpful to read the less than “5 star” reviews. It seemed many of these complaints centered on not following the installation manual which resulted in the cover binding, a sloppy fit or more than anticipated water infiltration. When the cover arrived I unboxed everything, identified all the parts and hardware then read EVERY PAGE of the installation manual again while watching the online videos and before starting the install. The combo of the videos with an installation manual specific to my truck worked great together. Paying close attention to the 3/16” truck bed spacing, leveling, and squaring of the rails is critical to achieving a good seal and the smooth and tight (no slop) operation of the cover. Aligning the ramps perpendicular to the rails is another critical detail. Once they look correct step out of the bed of the truck and with the tailgate down, look down the length of the bed to the ramps and rails. If they’re not perpendicular it’s easy to spot and adjust. Don’t try to skip taping up the rubber sea the length of the rails! I agree that having an assistant is helpful and makes the install move more quickly and the 3 to 4 hour time commitment is about right.

3. Performance/appearance: First – no surprises. The cover has performed as expected and earned the admiration of those who’ve seen it. I like the clean lines and durable appearance that isn’t achieved by soft roll-up or tri-fold covers. As described the closure of the cover is tight when first installed and requires a crawl under the cover to push the final two panels into place. Again, as described, once locked in place for the prescribed 24 hours, the panels pop into place without assistance when closing. The tailgate fits snug and square against the rear cover seal as does the seal of the front bed rail. The folding mechanism and ramps work flawlessly and the strap holds the folded panels securely in place when opened. I saw quite a few negative reviews regarding water infiltration. My first water test was taking the truck through an automated touchless car wash. This car wash had multiple high pressure nozzles spraying from every direction and took at least eight passes back and forth. From the negative reviews I was expecting a good deal of water in the bed of the truck. When I popped the tailgate I was very impressed! Even without the tailgate seal there was very, very little water in the bed – some drops here and there and this exceeded my expectation. I also saw some complaints in the reviews about the cover moving around a lot or being noisy at freeway speeds. Again, this has not been my experience. On the freeway at 80 mph I saw scarcely any moment or rippling and no noise at all. I’d say those who have Peragon covers that are noisy or move around a lot at freeway speeds probably have the side rails spaced too far apart or the rails aren’t square.

4. Overall: This cover is a winner! It’s the right combination of what I wanted/needed and at the right price. The installation went as expected and the performance is as promised. As with many things, so it is with bed covers – you get what you pay for. I can easily see the Peragon cover outlasting three or four of the $200 or less bed covers while at the same time outperforming them in terms of appearance, security and dependability. This is the kind of cover that adds value and capability to my truck and that’s exactly what I wanted!

I received my Peragon cover a day earlier than originally quoted! I received a call from Peragon customer support within five minutes of the delivery. (I was on the other line so they left a voicemail) It was raining the day it was delivered so I had to wait to install the cover. This gave me time to preview all of the installation videos. They are very well done! I forced myself to take my time to assure a good installation and not scratch the top. The total installation time was three hours. This included one interruption to inflate bike tires and remove my old cover. I purchased the old cover with my first 2010 F-150. It served me well for 5 ½ years but the Velcro lost its ability to stay closed. I often travel with several colleagues and their luggage. Thus my requirement for a dry truck bed. Trial runs through the car wash went well with only a few drops in the bed that I think came from the top of the tailgate as I opened it.

I am happy with the installation and appearance of the Peragon cover, in particular the low profile. The operation is as depicted on the videos. However, the first few openings were somewhat violent. I believe this is due to the elasticity of the new seals. I am now more prepared and able to open the cover smoothly.

I always like to focus on the longevity of items that I purchase. So I will try to submit another review in a year or so. My initial concerns with this cover are 1) Texas hail storms. I didn’t consider this when I made my purchase, I rated S&D at 75% with this consideration,2) the end caps on the rails. I think the screws are too short and there is not enough thread engagement. I will likely purchase longer screws when I have the opportunity.

I've had it installed for a couple weeks now. There are drawbacks to the design, but I haven't found any covers that don't have drawbacks. For this cover, you lose a certain amount of bed length near the cab. The space has to be left open for the cover to collapse into. I understood this buying it, so no problems. I have a divider I built that will keep things from moving into that space.
The installation is the biggest issue I had. I wasn't crazy about having to drill into the bed. It also was a little frustrating trying to get all the measurements lined up. I really questioned how well the seal by the cab would work, but it kept dust out when I was out in the desert. I do think that could be beefed up a little.
I have had a bakflip on another truck and I think for appearance and function, the Peragon is much better.

Good job Paragon, high quality and engineering. I was able to install my new cover all alone, in between rain storms, outside, in less than three hours. At 72 years, and handicapped. I didn't need any technical help, just instructions and videos. It looks fantastic and works smooth. It's not completely waterproof but this is California. It doesn't rain in California. Songs don't lie. I couldn't be happier, it's exactly what I needed. Easily removable for hauling my bike, and I can lock it up tight when needed. Thanks for a terrific high quality product made in America.

I added a review the other day somehow it didn't upload my photo, so I wanted to add a photo showing my Peragon hard at work while I'm hard at work! I do commercial roofing and while working on one of the local high schools, I realized how nice it is to not have to cram all my expensive tools into the backseat, or worry about something in the bed coming up missing. You would never know from the photo that underneath that Peragon is about $7,000 in power tools, infrared scanners, and heat welders!! And today, downpour #4 amazed my supervisor when I dropped tailgate and bed was virtually dry!! Wish these came stock on every truck!
