My biggest regret is not reading all of the reviews before purchasing the cover. I really like the the cover and the way it looks but after 6 month of use I am still not satisfied with the product. This is not a "Bash" review on the product or the company but a Pro and Con that i hope will help others. The company itself is great and very helpful and that is why it was hard not to give it a 5 star review.

Cons:
1. The Biggest issue it that it leaks from everywhere. This was very disappointing for the price point of the cover I was expecting a little better seal. Now I went in knowing that the cover was not going to be 100% waterproof but the amount of water that is let in is not good. When I reached out to the company they where happy to replace it because they said it looked like it got bent during shipping causing the leak. To my surprise the second cover leaked just as much. After sending in more photos to the company they replaced it stating it looked bent due to shipping. with this now being the 3rd cover in 6 months, I started from the beginning with the install think I missed something causing the leaks. However the 3rd cover leaked in all the same spots.

2. Storing items in the bed of the truck can be challenging. I keep a tote in the bed and have to tie it up near the tailgate to allow me to open the cover. With the way that the cover opens, you can not store anything towards the front of the bed and open the cover. You just have to be extra mindful when packing the truck bed knowing whatever you put towards the cab of the truck you will have to unload the whole bed to get that item.

3.When open and driving down the road, the panels make a lot of noise. I used the pull strap to tie them together but that still didn't help. Now I just remove them all the way if I am going to be driving with it open.

4. Last, and not sure if this is for all trucks or not but for the Tundra's, the side rails stick out very far. This does not leave much for the rubber seal to grab on to causing more leaking. Also you have to be very careful not to put too much weight on them because they will bend. I feel that they could have made it closer to the side of the truck for more stability.

Pros:
1. Company is amazing. With all the problems that I have with the leaking, they never gave me a hard time or the run around trying to replace the cover.

2. The cover looks amazing. it is definitely a eye catcher.

3. Locking cover. I have felt safe leaving tools and other stuff in the bed and locking the cover. It would take someone some time to be able to get into the bed.

4. The ability to remove the cover all together. This has made it easy to load bigger items.

When I saw there was something different on the bed cover scene, I got real interested. So I ordered one. The quality is great. The look is great. The installation is a little tedious, but ok. I have always had a Bak Flip type cover on previous trucks and I can install one in my sleep. I had to really pay attention to this one and the installation videos are great.

I use my bed a lot. I keep a pretty good size plastic tub in the bed and the cover provides great security. Since this design was new to me and had not seen one first hand, there are a couple of issues I did not consider. First, the lock is up near the front of the bed. A little inconvenient if trying to open and close a lot. My biggest issue is that the ramp where the panels drop down consumes about 18” of bed length. That means you cannot put anything over about 3” tall under the ramp without restricting the opening of the cover. So if you slide something fairly heavy towards the front of the bed, you have to pull it clear of the ramp to open the cover. That means unless the cargo has a rope or something to pull it out with, you have to crawl in under the cover and pull it out. Not insurmountable, but challenging if you forget about it and your cargo has slid towards the front of the bed. If you have an 8’ bed it will be real challenging.

These are my issues and do not reflect an inferior product, just some obstacles for the way I use my truck. Otherwise, a very nice piece, and Made in the USA!

Thank you for your feedback! Because we do not have a permanent canister taking up space, some space is required for the cover to fold down. A cargo hook is a great tool for pulling cargo from the front of the bed without having to crawl underneath to get it out. This then allows you to use every square inch, but still get your cargo out!

First let me start off by saying that I gave this cover 3 stars only because their customer service is excellent. Otherwise I’d only give it 2 stars. They were very helpful and even sent me a new cover when I wasn’t happy with the first one, even though there was nothing wrong with it. And the 100 day trial period is really good. So you can try it out and if you don’t like it you can send it back free of cost for a full refund. It is also the cheapest hard cover tonneau on the market. As for the cover itself, although an excellent concept, it does not perform well in many areas.
1. Time consuming installation. The online videos help a great deal, but there are a lot of steps involved. Plan on spending at the minimum 2 hrs to install.
2. It is made of thin aluminum that bends very easily under any weight. Mine bent under only about 2” of snow.
3. It leaks from everywhere. If you don’t care about water getting in your bed then it’s fine. However if you do store anything in there it will get wet. It leaks form between the panels, along the rails and along the bulkhead.
4. Also if you need to open the cover while it’s wet, all that moisture on top will end up inside the truck bed as soon as you start to fold it.
5. If you store any large items that can slide around like a cardboard box it will get under the spot that collapses and you will not be able to open the cover unless you crawl in the bed and slide the item out of the way.
6. The guide wheels come out of the tracks very easily. If you happen to shift the cover slightly while closing it, it will probably come out of the track. It happened to me several times.
7. And finally, although not very heavy, and yes it is completely removable, in my 2020 F150 it was not so simple to take out. There are pistons that make it “pop” into place when you close the cover that need to be removed first before taking the cover off. They were difficult to get to in my truck. There is also a small latch that you have to press in to release the cover from the passenger side at the bulkhead that is difficult to get to and can easily cut your hand when you press it in as the cover panel edges are sharp.
I would definitely not recommend this cover to anyone who uses their truck often for work or who wants to keep their gear dry. Agin it’s a great concept, but I feel it needs better engineering.

The appearance of this cover is very nice. It wasn't that hard to install and adjust, but I did end up sending it back after a week. I got the premium package, but wasn't satisfied with the security (seemed very flimsy and easy to access), and it leaked. For me, these are the 2 main reasons of having a bed cover. I don't won't to have to worry about luggage or whatever I put in the back getting wet or stolen. I will say, when returning it, customer service was very cooperative. I haven't gotten my refund yet so I guess we'll have to see how that goes.

The cover looks nice but has a few things I would change. The edges of the cover frame do not sit tight to the bed rail, which makes the weight of the cover sit on the little tabs not getting the full support of the bed rail. I have 3/8 on an inch gap between the bed rail and the frame in the back and more in the front near the cab. I live in Minnesota and when it snows it may get a little heavy for those little tabs. Also the side rails for the cover are a bit wide. I do like the way it looks and how it operates though.

Hello Robert, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Our seals cover along the outside of the frame completely along the top of your truck bed rail. We specifically keep our frame narrow enough to leave the stake pockets open for various after market accessories. We are located in Northern Wisconsin and the cover is designed to withstand a snow load (up to 300 pounds distributed weight) while stationary. As long as you remove the snow before driving, your frame will hold up even in the winter weather! We are happy to know that you like the look and that all is operating well for you. Should you ever have any questions - please let us know and we'll be happy to help!

Although I gave a 3 star rating this is a very quality product. It was easy to install as described and it is light enough for removal. This review is just to let people know before they buy. I had a black cover and it looked very nice on the truck.
My issues with this style cover is the fact that any water on top of the cover falls into the bed when you open it. If you have anything in the bed it will get wet. The other issue is if your cargo slides to the front wall and you can not reach it to pull it back you can not open the cover. The cover falls into the bed about 12-18" behind the front of the bed. If anything is below taller than 6" the cover will not open. If you don't use your bed very often then you may like this cover.
I will be buying a different style for my new truck.

Hello Rob, We appreciate your feedback! Our cover does fold down into the front of the truck bed, and this is shown on our website. Different sizes of trucks will have different sizes of panels and none of our panels are wider than 12", so that is the farthest that any cover will hang down. Unlike a canister style cover, we don't take up any permanent bed space. Yes, shifting cargo can prevent you from opening the cover, but there is also no canister to be damaged by shifting cargo. A cargo hook is a great tool to pull your cargo to the tailgate. This works well even when you open the cover so you can access the cargo that is far enough into the bed of the truck that you can't reach from the ground.

First the good; I would buy from Paragon again but a different design of cover. This cover is aesthetically appealing and the color match is perfect (mine was Ford Candy Red). I think too that the customer service is unmatched in the industry.

Additionally the concept of the cover is good and it doesn't have the unsightly bulge in the front of the bed like some other roll up covers do. Also, it is lightweight and it is aluminum vs plastic like so many other covers that roll up and stow out of the way.

However, my experience is the similar to Robert T's from Colorado in the one star section (although I cannot in good conscience give it a one star). This cover really is not for everyone. My big complaint with it is that it impinges into the bed when open and it cuts off nearly 8 inches of cargo room. I realize that I can take it out but that's really not a practical solution for an impulse buy of a big item at some furniture store that I need to haul. That being said it is tall enough that most long things that I load can be loaded when closed.

My other complaint with it is that it is not weather tight. While it is where the the gasket surfaces meet the adjoining aluminum panels, in the front, even after the gasket is installed, rain and moisture still enter the bed.

A third complaint I have is that when I drive at highway speed the cover appears to ripple in the center and vibrate. This is often reflected in my rear view mirror and is a distraction while driving. I think some additional reinforcements in a newer revision of the cover in the center of each panel will stop this. I also think that this affects the gas mileage some because the rippling causes turbulence - While I haven't fully tested this it appears that on the highway I'm not getting the mileage boost (at least 1-2 mpg) I was hoping for than when the bed is open. While this might have been a pipe-dream It is no better - which is one reason why I got the cover in the first place.

In summary, a very practical and attractive option when looking for utility and for appearance. It has its drawbacks that one should understand going in to avoid disappointment and when one is evaluating what you need to use the cover for. However, again, I would buy another style or design of cover from Paragon again.

Very satisfied with the cover itself. Am disappointed how much it leaks in the rain. Drove to WA state in the rain, and everything in the back got soaked. Not happy with that.

I'll start off by saying that the cover is great and fulfills it's function beautifully. However, and this is obviously only my opinion, installation is not as easy as advertised. Just for the record I watched all 14 You Tube videos. Aligning the rails isn't that easy and I couldn't mount the brackets on my truck bed at the point the manual said to do so. I had to choose a point a full 2 inches off the mark. This caused the gas springs to hit the bracket when trying to close the cover. I had to use a Dremel tool to trim the bracket. My question is 'Why is there no telephone support on a weekend'? I'm just wondering if it's too much to ask for maybe a four hour window on a Saturday where telephone support could be offered. I would think that most people select a weekend for install as we work during the week.

The cover appeared to be well built. Fairly easy to install. I was never able to get the cover to fully close, even after another set of arms were sent to me. The fee shaped arms deny one the ability to haul full sheets of plywood. Also, if your load slides to the front, you are unable to fully open the cover. Also, the cover does allow water into the bed. I would give it a fair to good rating.

First I have to say that the Paragon customer support is unbeatable.
They did their best to help correct the problems I was experiencing and they immediately sent out replacement parts. My truck cover looks great but it is difficult to operate. I tried every adjustment possible and repeated the installation from step one but it just takes way too much effort to operate. The cover looks great so I will take style over comfort for now.
