Install Video 11 – Removing the Cover
Video Transcript
To remove your panel assembly make sure the gas springs are removed from both the panels and the ramps on both sides. After removing your gas springs go over to the passenger side and pull back on the panels to find the quick-release clip. Push on the clip and pull on the panels. Then go over to the driver’s side and make sure the driver pin comes out of the bracket. Then wrap the pull strap around the panel’s to create a handle. Swing out the passenger side first to remove the panel’s.
To reinsert your panel assembly have the strap pulled around to create a handle. Make sure that the locking panel is facing the cab with your long roller mounts up. We’ll insert the driver’s side first at an angle, putting the long roller mounts into the rail and then swinging your passenger side long roller mounts into the rail. Then guide the driver pin into the driver rail bracket and then go over to the passenger side and push until you hear the click. After your panel assembly is back in place you’ll want to reinstall the gas springs. Remembering to have the gas spring end, or the thicker end, up attached to the panel with the ram end down attached to the ramp.
