What's the best tonneau cover for a Ridgeline?

Every Ridgeline has two things no other truck does: a lockable trunk under the bed floor and a tailgate that drops down or swings sideways. Owners use the trunk for what used to need a cover, and the bed for what doesn't fit in it. The best tonneau cover for a Ridgeline has to open fast enough that the trunk stays easy to get into. That's the Landmark retractable. It retracts into the front of the bed, locks with a key, and quick-releases in 30 seconds. It bolts to holes Honda already put in the bed.

We don't make a hard tri-fold for the Ridgeline. If you need to carry gear on top of the cover, the Tectonic is not an option on this truck.

A soft cover costs less, but it can be cut and it won't lock. Buy aluminum once.

What's the best tonneau cover for a Honda Ridgeline?

The Landmark retractable. It's the one Peragon cover that fits the 2017 and newer Ridgeline, on the 5-foot bed, and it bolts to holes already in the bed with no drilling. It retracts into the bed, locks with a key and quick-releases in 30 seconds. There is no Tectonic tri-fold for the Ridgeline.

Does a bed cover work with the Ridgeline's in-bed trunk?

Yes. The in-bed trunk lid lifts from the bed floor near the tailgate, and with the Landmark installed it opens to 22 inches.

Does a tonneau cover work with the Ridgeline's dual-action tailgate?

Yes. The Ridgeline tailgate drops down or swings open to the side, and the Landmark works with both. The cover locks against the closed tailgate either way.

Which bed length does the Ridgeline come in, and how do I measure mine?

One. Honda calls it a 5. Measure inside from the front wall to the inside of the closed tailgate and you'll get about 64 inches. There's no bed length to choose on the year page, just your year.

How long does it take to install a bed cover on a Ridgeline? Do I have to drill?

No drilling and no clamps, about 2 to 3 hours. The Landmark for the 2017 and newer Ridgeline mounts to holes Honda already put in the bed. Spray-in liners are fine. The install video is on the year page.

Does it fit the Ridgeline RTL, Black Edition and TrailSport?

Yes. Every 2017 and newer Ridgeline trim, Sport through Black Edition and TrailSport, uses the same 5-foot bed and the same cover.
